Previously writing on Allergy Therapeutics (AGY), towards the end of last year as the shares fell from 11.375p I wrote audit delay and how’s the position in the current dire funding climate?, concluding in the dire funding climate to continue to avoid. The shares are today back from suspension as results are published but, with the funding climate still dire, how’s that financial position now?

The David Beckham backed POS Cellular Goods (CBX) has still refused to explain why it has given away 16% of its equity to a crony mate of its founders Bixby & Edwards (who have since IPO dumped all their shares) for a start up in the seaweed to net zero space with no business. And so as it hurtles towards running out of cash by Christmas, it is trying to spoof investors to allow the spivs at Novum to get a bailout placing away. Another indication why Ocado is not going to keep being a FTSE 100 company for much longer
No doubt many of you are focused on Juneteenth, an “annual observance on June 19 to remember when Union soldiers enforced the Emancipation Proclamation and freed all remaining slaves in Texas in 1865”. For me it is just another mid-June Monday, the sort of day historically when (boring) larger cap institutional investors like me would be all over the Paris Air Show and at the Ashes. I start with yesterday. I have rewritten all of the Woodlarks articles and hope that you will re-read as they now have a bit more colour and a few jokes and, in a couple of cases, now actually make sense. The final Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks trek has ended. About a mile and a half before the finish, Dr Sam, Steve Moore and reader Nick from Islington caught the old geezers bar Andrew Bell who had wandered into a pub to emerge at Woodlarks a bit later in a taxi. The remaining walkers now in increasing pain, especially me, somehow managed the last bit which really is 90% uphill and met up with heroic Woodlarks supremo Nick Richards, posed for a group photo and headed up the drive to an enthusiastic reception from campers and carers. That always warms my heart and it is that reception I try to think about in those last painful miles. We have now raised, with gift aid, more than £27,000 so thanks to you all. Will I have enough time to visit Currys in Cyprus...or not?!
I probably bored you all earlier this week by saying (again) that Currys (CURY) is so much a better company than AO World (AO.). We will see whether that was smart or excessively reflective of my own personal computer kit purchasing preference over the next year or so. You may recall that - in addition to its somewhat mixed UK business - AO World has exited stage left from its always loss-making German business. By contrast, Currys has been historically alright at managing its non-UK business in places like Sweden and Greece. And now we can welcome Cyprus…
