Unrelated to the Bearcast (haven’t even listened to it), but what has happened with the Action Hotels share price? Tipped by ShareProphets and steadily in the 60p – 70p range these past three months (with very little movement), yet inexplicably dropping below 55p today.
An update on this share would be appreciated!

Off topic but the link to company news for the Totally PLC Issue of shares is desribed as the following
“Totally (#TLY) following grim profits warning & shares tanking a shed load of options issued. Oink Oink”
The details of the announcement are somewhat different – to qualify for the options the company must make pre-tax profits of £1million this year and £1.75million next year and the share price must be above 1.5p for 60 consecutive days – this is 5 times the mid price at time of award.
Its probably the most shareholder aligned options package I have seen – if the directors are able to exercise the options, existing shareholders will have made substantial profits.

I object to the editorial OINK OINK comment on the Totally RNS news of options :-
“All Options granted are also subject to satisfaction of certain performance criteria, being: (i) the closing mid-market price of an ordinary share being 1.5 pence or above over a continuous 60 day trading period prior to exercise; and (ii) the Company reporting audited pre-tax profits in excess of £1.0 million for the year ended 31 December 2015 and £1.75 million for the year ended 31 December 2016. The Options only become exercisable when the performance criteria have been met and expire on the 3rd anniversary of the Grant Date.”
That must be a tremendous incentive for management to do much better opposite the current share price and also shareholders will benefit greatly if they succeed.

Why should directors get extra just for doing their jobs properly. They get a salary for the same purpose as anyone else. To do the job to the best of their ability. In accord with the overall job spec, which in the case of boardrooms is to grow it, extract as much from the assets as it is possible, to return value to investors.
I’m not a communist nor a socialist, I’m a realist. That poor fucker on the ground working for a minimum wage, The boardrooms and the shareholders are the wealth creators. That guy on the ground floor when he goes to work, he’s pretty much wasting his time then.
If it makes a director work harder to get a bonus then give the guy on the ground floor one as well, then everyone in the company becomes a wealth creator and us shareholders can clean up. When that happens I’ll agree with you. Till then it’s cronyism

What are you a fecking commy ? Just dont buy shares then . I want my shares to have managers of the business that are getting well rewarded for very stretching performance . From where Totally is now ( totally fecked ) that is very stretching performance in anyones book .

Of course TXO trading statement was upbeat – they always are. But if you have followed them as I have then you know that it is just the same old delays dressed up as progress and promises of even more jam tomorrow. GBG have not missed by a few months, There were supposed to be cash generative in Q1 2013 they are still needing loans to keep going now and if / when they do finally get all the approvals to build the HRP they will need significant capital injection. They have significant retained loss – they are not going to have cash to spunk away in dividends to TXO “later in the year”. It would be surprising if they were in a position to pay something in 2016, but TXO do not want people to realise that as they have a huge amount of debt to repay between now and then.
The purpose of the trading update is to ramp the shares ahead of the proposed placing – with the share price so close to nominal they need to do something to get it up before they discount back down to nominal. They need the placing otherwise they will not have the cash to pay the auditors and annual accounts are due 31 Mar 15 (last year they were published on 31 Mar 14)
