Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
I exposed how Quindell is going to get rogered (at best) by Slater Gordon overnight HERE in this podcast I discuss how this accounting fiddle works, what it means for Quenron's (QPP) dire financial position, it really should be fessing up to that and has not and I also flag up that Gotham City Research is starting to wake up. For the avoidance of doubt the share price target remains 0p and the fact that the shares are up today shows nothing other than the insanity of man, the bear case has just got stronger still.

Where was the smell of napalm this morning? I so nearly listened to you when you advised SELL following RT flogging his remaining shares at 42p. Indeed you advised your readership to SELL even if they could buy a packet of crisps after dealing costs. When the share was considerably higher you advised SELL and go the coke and hooker route with what remained of a £120k investment.
Bizarrely whilst everything you said made sense – and 0p appeared the most likely outcome – the absurd bullishness of Brotherhumble and the wisdom and logic of capitalist worker – the most outstanding poster by far on the LSE – encouraged me to hold. Thank you Tom for allowing me to use your forum to show my appreciation to them both since the North Koreans running the LSE banned me.
Any apology for the investors that sold out and listened to your doom and gloom prophecy of 0p? I guess not. Since you admit to have family connections to those who are shorting the company your honesty and integrity in this whole saga must be seriously open to question. Finally if QPP maintain their upward momentum your gonna look a bit of shmock at your investor party! A figure of ridicule and absolutely no credibility as share prophet!Bob
Couple of thoughts, probably incorrect.
If Slater Gordon have nominally offered £10 million for a ‘sample’ on which to do ‘due diligence’ then you might expect that Quindell would bulk the sample with their best chances. Assume the £10 million has not been paid but the offer, assuming the material is good, is in place. I do not see how they might trust Quindell to offer a ‘random sample’ of cases such that Slater Gordon might take a guess as to the overall value of a complete buyout of all cases, including the dross.
In effect that means, in my mind, that Slater Gordon have asked for a list of Quindells ‘Cherries’ from the QLS portfolio, AKA ‘Cherry Picking’ with a base offer, should they take them off Quindells hands of £10 million. That assumes the numbers run and the cases stack for Slater Gordon. No doubt they will Cherry Pick themselves and walk away with the best of the crop for less than £10 million.
I can’t remember where the £10 million figure came from but assuming it is correct then the premise is that this is the most Slater Gordon are prepared to pay for ‘The Cherries’ and those are ‘The Cherries’ that Quindell is, realistically, offering. Depending on what has been negotiated and I doubt Slater Gordon is going to allow themselves to be stitched up on the deal then that £10 million is the ‘maximum’ value of QLS having stripped out the dross cases and Quindell will get less.
As I say I do not have a clue.
In respect of Gotham ‘waking up’. It seems they might be more mercenary than Tom. I get the impression that Tom enjoys the long chase but Gotham plays with its prey. I would not doubt that having wounded Quindell Gotham left them alone to supposedly recover so they could short it some more.

Hi Tom,
Isn’t it amazing how when the share price goes up all the QPPSAG brigade come out of the woodwork claiming that they were right all along. So for balance QPPSAG were formed when share price was £2.00 – share price now £1.17 – so massive loss still – also why did QPPSAG remove all the articles regarding Rob Terry share buying? Also no mention of broker quitting, or Rob Terry selling out, or Fidelity dumping half the stock.
Steamy/longtermholder/Jimi Marshall price target for xmas 2014 was £15.00 per share – actual price was around 40p – yet this serial loser is seen as an investing guru and the “dear leader” of the QPP trolls.
What happens when QLS is sold – how are QPP going to meet their eps targets?
Why are QPP selling a business with 45-50% margins which makes £100million+ in profits if there’s nothing wrong?
What are the profit predictions post QLS sale?
Bob
I should have listened to the full BearCast before commenting.

Hi,
Daily Mail seem to having a laugh – from the article today – more spin from Quindell trying the boost the share price.
“The two directors drafted in to rescue controversial insurance outsourcer Quindell have pledged to waive any windfall resulting from a £1billion disposal currently being negotiated.
Surely this is completely false and misleading as they have NOT stated that there is a £1billion offer and therfore there are NO negotiations ongoing?

Diabel,
In the interest of balance I sold out at 207p at a loss of £5K, on Tom’s influence, I am grateful to him, I should have sold out sooner, but was hoping like people still are.
The market makes its own mind up, as we all must do, Tom points to fraud and wrong doing, I am not comfortable with fraud and wrong doing, so am out, SP’s go up/down for all reasons, we have to be respondsible for our own choices, and not seek to blame or elevate others, heed knowledgable advise, or heed spurious ramping/ deramping, the choice as always is yours.

Following on, OH er !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, you could always shoot the messenger, he’s fair game.

Tom fascinating theory and supposition and there may or may not be elements that prove correct who knows, but unless you have inside information I did not hear one fact in this bearcast, merely your opinion, which you are fully entitled to.
This surely is the worse type of irresponsible investigatory journalism.

I presume a file review is where one solicitor shares its confidential client files with a third party for its own financial gain. Not sure why the SRA handbook chapter 4 does not apply.

You sound even more rattled than normal in this podcast. It is not going to
0p! I will take your agitation as a buy signal.
