First the Bulletin Board jihadists tried to silence myself and this website with death threats. That failed. Then they tried to get ADVFN to stop working in partnership with us. That failed. Then there was an attempt to put our restaurant out of business with bogus reviews. That failed. Then they tried to bully speakers to pull out of UK Investor Show. That failed. And so now the jihadists are trying to persuade companies to stop advertising with us. And some PLCs are caving.

To actively persuade companies to pull out of advertising on this site really does reek of pathetic desperation, rather akin to pressing for the chastisement of a relatively meek and mild Viking amidst scores of raping and pillaging Beserkers for a comment deemed slightly sexually inappropriate by the faux and fashionable intelligentsia!
And what sort of business sense does it make anyway – to pull out of advertising on this basis alone? People who use this site are hardly going to be discouraged from throwing business at the advertisers they see here because – erm – they like the site (or else they wouldn’t use it)! There may be one or two Mary Whitehouse types who do so to sate latent masochistic desires but I’m sure – if so – they’re heavily outnumbered. Those who don’t like the site won’t use it and will remain oblivious to the presence of advertisements. C’est simples.
Wonder how much Tesco’s Marketing Director makes? Don’t get me started on their former head honcho Leahy, by the way (St Edwards College, eh – do they still discriminate against non-Catholics, I wonder?).

I am not unused hearing and using industrial language but if it is being used as a reason, or pretence, to eschew advertising in your esteemed publication, why not just cut it out? You are an articulate guy and perfectly capable of delivering painful verbal blows without profanity.

Does no one in this country understand the English Language . Anything can be in it , legitimately , it simply requires the word to be in common usage . Take Fuck for example . Its use is widespread everywhere , the high street , the pub , the train , the underground , everywhere . Absolutely everywhere . Anybody that says otherwise is in denial or too busy knocking one out like Hargreaves Lansdowne. To say the English word “prophet” is somehow a possession of a particular religion is in correct . Anyone can be called a prophet and or make a prophecy. It does not require membership of a particular religion .
Regarding QPP shareholders in particular ………… Thou shall not worship false idols …….remember that in a few months .

HL will be getting an email from me advising that if their stance is that people should be able to commit fraud and fleece private investors with impunity then I shall never consider putting a penny their way. I’ll be encouraging all the other investors I know to do the same.
