This is an anniversary week and so forgive the rather personal nature of this podcast. There is a bit of pride, triumphalism and vindication here as I set one record straight. Yes it relates to events at the Death Star. But there are also a few more general points about changing trends in the media and and about investing in people businesses.

Great Bearcast but as a shareholder in Rivington I still cannot believe the amount of lies told and the fact the assets was sold to the management. Also peterhouse bought part of Rivington on a Rns but later it was forgot about. The 25% of a new media company promised to shareholders of Rivington but when I contacted one person he had to look at the Rns and phone me back and never did. What pisted me off we never had a say as shareholders and its in the best interest of shareholders.Lol.:)

Well done Tom, long and strong in this case has worked for you, and its a testament to you that you are not overly triumphalist, though you could be excused for being so.
Your enthusiasm for your work is there for all to see, and its that, keeps you and your crew going from strength to strength, and long may it continue for the Sheriff and his posse.

Okay,so some value could have been salvaged at the end.It wasn’t…..but the shareholders in Rivington Street holdings will never be told the full story of what went wrong in the first place.One moment things were supposed to be going well,then the share price started to crash – and all we really have is a bit of bile emanating from the other side.We have mostly been kept in the dark.

Not at the end..Numerous offers were received for numerous assets back to 2012, They were all rejected, unwisely in my opinion.
AK47, Turbo – thanks. time to look forward, it is game set & match to me, Those who ran RSH into the groud said it was “all about management”. Their record in what happened & mine since shows how right they were.
David, valid points. What about that 25%. I fear it is 25% of nothing but we were all promised that by my good friend Mr Mellon, I know he is a man of his word…
