We are being told that business does not want a referendum on our membership of the EU. That is a lie from a multinational elite as I explain. Moreover even were that true that does not mean that we the people, should not be allowed our say - after all are we not meant to live in a democracy? That is the subject matter of this podcast extra.

Can’t see any merits of paying billions to be members of an undemocratic, over regulated, uncompetitive, no-growth club which far from there being an open market is still rife with national protectionism. The ‘leaders’ debate last night was a sham… our politicians are just puppets jerked around by the EU ~ Farage at least got that right even if he does look like Toad from Toadhall (Wind of the Willows lol).
I don’t think we’ll get a fair ballet even if we do eventually get one. The establishment, press, big business and the EU will bombard us with pro-EU propaganda and scare stories. Clegg has already let the cat out of the bag this week about how they aim to fix the vote by suggesting EU-citizens in the UK should be able to vote in that referendum which should be for the British people only. Sturgeon also thinks each of the 4 home nations should have the right of veto even if a majority vote ‘out’…. I wonder if she’d say that if it was Scotland who voted ‘out’ and rest said ‘in’?!
It’s pretty sad that the leaders of one of largest economies in the world seems to doubt it’s ability to stand on its own two feet with confidence ~ political pygmies the lot of them. I’d vote for the devil if it meant we could leave :)

Absolutely agree Tom .
I’m in a safe Conservative seat so will be voting UKIP .
UKIP’s raison d’etre is sovereignty , not immigration as portrayed by the media .
However , with regards to the effect of mass immigration on Briton’s job prospects , all those “leaders” had to say was that they would raise the minimum wage to stop exploitation .
Quite apart from believing they have a magic wand , what good does it do the family of a less able Briton if the massively overqualified better educated immigrant from the EU who is doing their job gets a payrise ?
Cameron also stated the influx of Indian I.T. workers has had no effect on the number of people taking I.T./Computer science at degree level .
I think he is genuinely totally unaware that graduates with those degrees are finding it virtually impossible to get a first job , let alone one which will pay of the student debt they have taken on . As you put it ; out of touch .
