I start by defending NonDoms. Do not get me wrong the owner of Chelsea FC is not my fave guy but the politics of envy is self defeating. Then to stocks - I start with the China Norfolks and then it is onto Coms, blinkx, Trinity Exploration, the BG/Shell deal and what it means for smaller oil stocks and Starcom.

given a choice would you rather hold shares in mosman oil or gas in a sipp or kibo mining and why.

Ho ho ho. I really do not know anything about Kibo but on the basis that it is not Mosman Oil & Gas I would elect to go with Kibo

Jeremy – would you rather hold x shares in Kibo or 5x shares in Edenville, and why (serious question – as you mentioned Kibo I’m sure the connection will be apparent)?

non-doms – they’d stay even with abolition of non-dom status. Main reason: security, rule-of-law, London’s an alpha city. Also even without non-dom, city of London still useful for laundering non-dom monies via LLPC’s.
