Alliance Pharma (APH) is a stock that Britain’s Buffett had held for ten years and it is also a great sleep-sound core portfolio buy for me. Its CEO John Dawson is a good man and I like the company. Anyhow he, and the CEOs of Rex Bionics, Accesso and Akers Biosciences, of which I know sweet FA are presenting in London at the Proactive forum this Thursday 23rd). There’s free food & booze on offer as well. And

One of the few regrets of living so far out from London is missing out on opportunities to attend events like this and the outstanding 2015 UK Investors Show ( which has been receiving rave reviews ). Well done, Tom!
Trying to realign my portfolio to a more defensive stance, after disastrous forays into oil and mining stocks, I had a close look at Alliance Pharma. Its currently motoring! I note its got a very high Stockopedia Stockrank of 98, but, still looks good value on forward rolling forecast P\E 11.8 and a decent yield of 2.79%.
So, did, I invest in APH? Your joking! That would have been far too sensible an investment to have made! Nope, I went for Ekf Diagnostics! Which just about shows how ruddy successful I am at stock picking!
