NEW

Bulletin Board Moron of the Week Contest #21 - In honour of market abuser @ChrisOil

On the very day that market abuser Chris Oil started selling 96 million shares in Sefton Resources (SER) he tweeted out that the stock was a buy to those who follow him. There were other ramps to follow as Oil cleared his position which were so blatant that the FCA is now investigating him. To be so blatant with your market abuse surely makes you a Bulletin Board Moron but perhaps you have spotted someone tweeting or posting something even more stupid. we suggest that boards for New World, Sefton and Worthington will once again throw up some examples.

oh no ……… nothing could possibly beat that spiv “Oily Chris” of the infamous “marble bath three” Makes Dell Boy Lemongas look like a saint ready to be anointed by the Pope.

  2. This is great, how to create false value and turn it into “liquid gold” from the WRN LSE asylum.

My thoughts on NUNAToday 16:04These are only my thoughts, and I could be completely wrong, but…

The Nuna deal would of been the ideal (most profitable one to go for).

We have had delay after delay, and the TW court delay only helped things along. On share prophets, after the final court hearing between TW and AE, there was an article published where TW said something about free speech, and then AE had his chance to speak. He did say something about this being a potential opportunity, which makes me think this was all part of the master plan with NUNA.

Also when NUNA performs a RT of Worthington, the cost price can be massive as WRN wants it to be, as the agreed “HUGE” figure can be given in shares, secured convertable loan notes & placing warrants.

On this basis they can value the company much higher to take into account, deals done and future deals, as it would all be paper transactions, with no immediate cost as such. The new share price would then be “MANY MULTIPLES” higher than what we currently have.

The late accounts can be amended accordingly as they have not been published yet, and when its all ticked off, they can then go straight on to Frankfurt market and truly make it liquid gold.

I am by no means and expert in this field, but this is what I think

  4. I wonder how the “repaired” Sefton is getting on ?

  5. Bernie Worthington

Worthington Group ‘stockholders’ on LSE asylum. A cult of crazy WRN worshipers and dreamers, the longer they can’t trade their ‘Golden Tickets’ the more excitable and divine their promised exit appears to be. The less they know about undefined deals the greater their leader is and more valuable those unproven bankrupt and otherwise unreachable Greenland reserves will become.
Are these genuine stupid chump posts or is someone making these posts up?

    Morning all
No factoids on the horizon during this period, but fun thinking about what a good SP will do for us. Assuming the SP hits, say, £10 in the next 12 months, what difference will it make to you guys? Personally mine’s going on a 911 C4S cabrio and an apartment in Cyprus. And something for the wife of course :-) Anyone willing to share their thoughts? I really hope that to some it’ll mean early retirement and/or a life of rampant hedonism..

I think you will find the shareholders are quite calm, particularly since they have seen this type of bear attack quite often now.

Do let me know if there are multiple RNSs of major shareholders bailing out though as I might then show some concern.

However as it is only the usual BB suspects making a song and dance about a non-event, and I expect a few of their friendly journo hacks reporting on it either later today or in the morning, I’ll gladly ignore the noise, and carry on wondering about how to spend the very nice dividend cheque from those wonderful people responsible for running PLUS.

Indeed the sun has just come out, so as well as being able to top up cheaply here it really is turning out to be a great day all round!

    RE: “Expert”(Self-proclai..

    Hi Ifonly,

My first time posting but, hey ho.

The comment about people who paid GBP6 never getting their money back… It depends what they do with the dividend. If they take it off the table, then yes, I think you are correct. But if they keep it invested then it should be easy (relatively). Assuming the divi is 110p, and share price is 132p, then the post-divi price should be 22p. For each old share held, the divi can pay for 5 new shares. Investors then end up with 6 new (post-divi) shares for each one held. The price then only needs to increase to 100p for the investor to come out flat – a market value of 445m, which is at least somewhat realistic.

Another way of putting it is that the current price is great news for long-term holders with high averages. They just need to stay invested rather than taking the dividend and investing somewhere else.

    Cheers.

P.S., yes, I am a finance professor. I teach behavioural finance. Especially the psychology of investing. And yes, I am also invested in this company.

  8. I guess this @chrisoil @ShareProphets drama shows… you can make more money directly buying and selling shares than writing about them! Still reading a few @TomWinnifrith articles on it… for the DRAMA!

  9. HOW DARE YOU?

… not award Loverat of ADVFN a repeat BBMOTW award? He is simply begging for one. Apparently he has you beat and humiliated, and he parades his legal prowess and struts his stuff on ADVFN with increasing abandon. 10 minutes with Search there will yield Rich Pickens.
    Ciao.
