Hello Share Pluckers. As I’m pretty ignorant about the Greek tragedy, I leave the analysis to Tom and others who’re nearer the problem. But I think I might be able to add a very general view on what might happen now, based on a lifetime’s experience of big global threats to the world economy.

Not so sure this time Malcolm. It sounds like the Germans are really pissed off at the Greeks for not being more………German. Let’s face it. They have never been that good at seeing the bigger picture.

Well it worked for Khrushchev if getting the nukes out of Greek’s old sparring partner Turkey can be considered a success!

Irrespective of whether this deal is done or not the real problem will be implementation. It is highly unlikely that the Greek government will be able to deliver on the commitments agreed in any deal. Greece’s only hope of recovering is outside the Euro; their exit, in my view, is inevitable.

I am buying like crazy at the moment as prices are depressed….its interesting to see what stocks keep rising…some of the Rockets are still pushing up doggedly…some are not but thy are not plummeting.
