On May 8, the market abuser Chris Oil tweeted out that folks should buy shares in Sefton (SER) as - at the same time - he and Brokerman Dan sold their entire 6% holding at between 0.35p and 0.4p. Yesterday morning Sefton announced a bailout placing at just 0.065p. Guess what happened next?

in your article :
“ Yesterday morning Sefton announced a bailout placing at just 0.65p.”
should read 0.065p
DUCK AND DIVE
That RNS is inadequate: where’s the TR-1? We should be told when these 288m shares were bought. No sign of any such trade today, yesterday (when trades of 100m and 200m were commonplace) or any other day in the past week.
Whatever Sefton’s adviser says, it’s nailed on that these shares were acquired at the discounted 0.065p price.

You need another 0 to put after the ‘null point’ in the 0.65.. spotted by John G…
Strange to say if I look elsewhere it would appear that ‘BrokerManDan’ is a pasty faced bloke in a poorly fitting suit as opposed to being Che Guevara.
Perhaps he might wish to update his twitter picture?

I have only really taken a passing interest in this chris oil/brokermandan spat but having read this article and assuming it is true, I must say I think they are bang to rights, I’m not sure who they deal through but their broker should have made a suspicious transactions report to FCA, more so if the broker knows that they have these blogs and followings. These guys are so foolish, as someone who has made plenty STR’s and had much dialogue with the regulator I would be surprised if their dealings are not being monitored, their broker may have been asked to provide dealing info as and when trades are made. If I were a betting man I would think its odds on for a meeting at Canary Wharf ……. with the tapes rolling, not pleasant. Generally the calibre of staff at the regulator is shocking, not in the investigations team though, they are more often than not ex police investigators, certainly not to be underestimated. If I were in the shoes of walter mitty and BMD, I would be thinking what the fuck have I done!! I think the PR bird could have a case to answer too if she is promoting them and receiving payment. Stupidity all round.

Another deeply shocking expose on these two gentlemen’s actions.
Tactics of men devoid of truth and any honour in the pursuit of naked greed! Both appear hell bent on destroying what little trust and respect, the private investor once held for them with this latest episode in the Sefton saga.
Daniel Levi – from hero to zero in a matter of a short few months…… seemingly bitten and corrupted by avarice….. has the Brokerman truly become one the creatures he once so despised? Sadly, it seems the case.
We shall now wait to see in what form the undoubted RAMP (shrieking out another great new dawn for Sefton) will take, by the not so honourable associates?
Whatever it may be…….. to me, it’s a case of once bitten, twice shy!

ADVFN should withdraw the award they gave to Levi.

Even more sordid, in light of BMD’s claim that he sold his stock to fund medical traetment for a family member.

Guerrilla Investing, what is it? It’s a totally new concept developed by BMD for Private Investors. I presume this “new concept” goes something like this………We blog and tweet, you act, we do the opposite, we make money, you get fucked.
Don’t forget even Che lost his fingers in the end!!

Anyone know whether this BMD dude drives a diesel van?
