Whilst in travelling with my mum in her father's homeland, Glasgow, earlier this week, we came across this sign overlooked by most tourists.
Considered by many as Canada's greatest prime minister - not to mention a father of the country - he conjured a successful nation out of nothing, based on high tariffs on foreign goods and massive public spending on infrastructure. A capital C Conservative, he won successive elections based on those policies over the godless proto-Commie Liberal Party, which advocated for free trade.
A few days later, in Dublin... (Also, why have I never been to Dublin before. What a great city.) ... I was pining for some free wifi to use the map feature on my iPhone when I spotted the sign below.
Free City Wifi powered by Gowex! What a great idea. But for some reason, I could not get it to work.
