Breaking news and expert analysis on fast-moving AIM and LSE listed shares

On Sunday I discussed how AIM listed stockbroker WH Ireland (WHI) ripped off a 78 year old pensioner for more than £500,000 but has only compensated him for £150,000. A WH Ireland spinmeister says that the actual loss for the poor defrauded pensioners was only £329,750. But the PR operative was less forthcoming when questioned about a swarm of other scandals.

I have for many decades naturally assumed that all discretionary account managers are cunts , making that assumption has I believe served me well over the years. When I was a teenager earlier last century I remember a mate of mine going through hard times after his dad died suddenly, his mum was in bad state and no idea about investments so they gave a cunt the discretion to manage their stock market investments which his dad had built up to around £300,000 which was a fortune in those days. The cunt of course did what they do best and began churning in earnest and within two years had got rid of all the money, the excuse given was that market forces had taken their toll, there was no comeback, the cunt just got away with it and it seems nothing has changed over the years.

These people should be forced to pay back every penny. These discretionary account charge loads and you pay these people because they should now the market I stack shelves in a supermarket and did better than them it’s a joke the whole industry and these people call themselves experts My son works in wealth and he made a lot of money investing before he got the job and it was better than any CV from a graduates of a top university because he understands the market and most people in the industry have not got a clue and do as they am told right or wrong and that’s the problem with educated people when it comes to money they are blinded by cash and morals go out the window.Sorry about the rant it pissed me off because these people trusted them and yes you can lose money but their risk profile and their age should have been looked at.

When Pritchards went bust WH Ireland told me they were handling all clients courtesy of the FCA/FSA of course when some bumtious twat then phoned me to inform he was now looking after my portfolio that of course was wihout asking me if that was ok or introducing himself etc, I just told him to go fuck himself and transfer everything to Walker Crips having said that they didnt make it easy, awful people to deal with a real bunch of knobheads.

Sorry woody44 not all educated people chase the cash that was wrong of me, but people in this industry seem to be educated and have a liking for money and in all cases they still should have a risk profile on people who hold accounts.

WH Ireland tried to steal the clients of the former Pritchard brokers and boasted in the press about how many millions they took under management from this great deal for them. The fact was that most of the decent discretionary business was moved by brokers who refused to join WHI . Those that stayed were completed shafted by them . (Supposedly )Shortly after this deal Compton ( then MD and nasty piece of shit ) and Tyler ( fuck knows how he still is authorised fat arrogant lying jerk ) were frog marched to the lift and sacked on the spot – why ? they were ( allegedly ) , shorting stocks where they had inside input from the corporate boys ahead of figures , buying stocks themselves and or in family members names before the company issued buy notes on them , pressurising brokers into buying stocks in which they had an interest .

As you and other posters allude what a nasty, greedy unscrupulous organisation WH Ireland appear. I suppose we must hope that those charged with enforcement of the rules will investigate and punish the guilty, as even they must be fully aware by now the private investors growing fears and abhorrence as the scandals of these piranhas wreck confidence in the Aim market with their never ending lust for money without morals or ethics.
It seems the company mission statement of firms such as WH Ireland ought to be……. “ the end always justifies the means”
Just as the greed, thirst for power and ambitions of the politically motivated trade union leaders in the 70’s, sickened and so appalled Middle England that it threw us up Mrs Margaret Thatcher. Just as the exhibition of nearly forty years, practicing disgusting excesses of greed, selfishness, lies, deceit and robbery by the crony fat cat capitalists brigade and their political allies, has thrown up……. Mr Jeremy Corbyn.
