Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
At no-one is watching a clock yesterday AIM listed Hotel Corp (HCP) directors published a document seeking to thwart boardroom change at this disaster story and save their grubby tax free pay packets. Sadly for them I have obtained a series of emails which show that the document contained a series of lies. Worse still I have obtained accounts showing how 22% shareholder and ex Nomad to Hotel Corp, Shore Capital has coined it in from this vehicle, making millions, as shareholders have lost everything. The directors and Shore Cap oppose Yeoman and wish to pursue another venture similar to the last one which cost shareholders everything but made Shore millions ( and paid the useless board too much for doing sweet FA). I expose the lot of them and am furious.

From memory and this is now well over 3 years ago avisen was 1 of the better performers. To be fair – not that you want to be – Yeoman is a NED at Avisen. I think you should judge him on where he has gone in to rescue failed companies: Guscio, Concha, etc.
Best wishes

Whilst you do not reveal sources it might be reasonable to ‘guess’ that the source is in fact, wholly or in part, Marcus Yeoman and he, or whoever the source, is have chosen or have been forced to use your good self as a vehicle to release this information. Presumably they have no recourse to ‘legitimate’ news channels such as via something like RNS.
…. I’m not suggesting you are ‘illegitimate’ and in fact given some of the tripe that is published via RNS I would have to rate it lower than yourself.
To the lack of point.
I could be slightly concerned that if all you have is e-mail evidence then your present target[s] might claim to have never received these communications from Mr Yeoman or your source. They might be hitting the big delete button as I type. Otherwise I hope your source has responses from your target[s] to his e-mails, along with the associated headers, and perhaps more importantly something on paper from the opposite side.
I’m sure Oakley does not lick his bum for free. Good to hear Tara has bounced back. Enjoy the second Honeymoon.

while we’re being fair yeoman left concha in 2013 with the sp on its derriere and while there it lost 80%. guscio’s dropped since the reverse, Reach4 bombed since he joined, plenty of other AIM and ISDX disasters on his cv, bright futures plc went into admin
giving a crony capitalist m8 a free pass is fine but telling us to back him is a bit much

Tom, you are obviously very talented and get a lot of satisfaction revealing the very dodgy goings on within the stock market. I have dabbled, and failed, albeit to a very small scale, but one thing I have learned is the overwhelming sense of greed it gave me, just another few pence and I will close, now it has gone in the opposite direction I wish I had closed earlier, absolutely obsessed with charts and price movement, watching 1 minute charts for what turned out to be hours rolling into weeks on end.
And if i had won more than I had lost? I would be gambling even higher, ultimately losing in the long run. But my point is, it made me painfully aware of my greed.
If you save people from the latest company scandal, what does that do, apart from save people money, for them to buy more shares in other companies. It doesn’t make them better people, just saves them money. And therefore grateful to you.
So do you do this because you want to be a saviour? There doesn’t seem to be a higher purpose for revealing the greed of the corporates, this is no different to the greed of the investors, they just have more power. Sure there may be a few that are saved from spending their retirement on the breadline but I would imagine the majority are the average market gambler.
If you are going to get your knickers in a twist over something, make it important. You are a climate change denier. Watch this, https://youtu.be/qlzE8z0D5Tk then you will understand there are more important things to rant about than greedy bods.
I await my moron of the week nomination again, oh the shame….

I do it becuase I think capitalism makes the world a better place but what we have right now is crony capitalism, a stitch up between Government and a financial elite which makes the world a less good place for all. If I can do my bit nailing a few crony capitalists and actually pushing to make the system better that is a good thing. I might not change anything but I should try should I not?
See bearcast tomorrow

How dull would this website be (and life in general for that matter) if Tom was to ever actually go on sabbatical!? ;)

Incidently one of the largest original shareholders in Hotel Corp was Richard Desmond, introduced by I understand Shore,it was one of his biggest boobs since page 3 and it was reported he was unsuprisingly not a happy bunny,I have no idea if he retains his shareholding.
The holding company for the trading division was Puma Hotels plc, originally Dawnay Shore Hotels, and shortly before its liquidation its name was changed to UK Group of Hotels plc;it was this vehicle in which Hotel Corp had around 49% of the equity, loan stock you mentioned and also Convertible preference shares which if converted would have given it around 56%.
I believe Puma Hotels plc also had outside investors beyond Hotel Corp.It was Puma Hotels plc that paid the management fee of 1% of its Gross assets(ie including debt, bank borrowings etc) to eventually Shore Capital. It must have paid out in the region of £25m over its existence.
Puma Hotels owned around two dozen mainly 4 star hotels that in the main originally belonged to Trust House Forte,Macdonald Hotels bought most of the other THF Hotels outside London when they were sold,in general the better ones,Puma traded under the name Paramount, then Barchelo when the Spanish firm took over management. It was the loss of the Barchelo management contract that precipitated the collapse of Puma Hotels,Barchelo essentially walked away from their lease.Barchelo eventually paid some compensation but due to the complexity of Barchelo’s lease arrangement split with around 20 different intermediary Barchelo subsiduary companies which had no recourse to the parent Barchelo company,it did not nearly compensate. The valuation of the Puma Hotels was based on the lease payment paid by Barchelo, without this inflation linked lease the hotels had to be revalued, the lower valuation wiped out Pumas’s equity. The original lender was the fairy godmother of dodgy property lending Anglo Irish Bank, eventually the Irish Bank Resolution Corp put in the boot. They now trade under new ownership as The Hotel Collection although a few hotels have been added by the new owners
