Its not an F1 or you would be talking £600,000 and they aint made um for decades. Its a 650s but hay ho . No doubt the salesman who dragged out his unconscious customer from the burning car wreck wished he had left the car in valet mode map , with the traction control on . No doubt the customer wished the intervention of Karma into his day was a little bit less painful . Seriously tho Mclaren ……………letting people drive one of these for the first time on a public road is just plain stupid , especially when Oulton Park circuit is 20 minutes drive away and they do “run what you brung” track days. You just knew it was going to end in tears and it did. There should be compulsory off road training for owt putting out more than 350 BHP. Ron Dennis “your a very naughty boy”
P/s did you see what it did to the tree it hit ……….. just a bit of bark missing ……… you gooda love trees . As for the Macca …….. its quite a job , but it should polish out with a bit of T-cut ……not .

You are avin a bubble. In pointing out the contrast between wanker overpaid brokers & clients who get fleeced I think this is an excellent piece as I suspect do most readers. I take it you work for WH Ireland?

Wildrides , I know a few people who enjoy thrashing their £200 Volvo estates on Oulton Parks track days, they probably reach speeds of 65 miles per hour on the straights and dont like being overtaken so a degree of skill is required by those in quicker motors, hitting the tree was probably the better option for this plonker.

No I don’t work for WH Ireland, or in any company like it. I simply think it’s bad taste to use a car crash where someone almost lost their life as bad taste.
Plus tarring all brokers as ‘wankers’ who are ‘overpaid’ seems to be tarring everyone with the same brush, which again seems narrow minded.

There is no bad taste in pointing out that a firm that rips off pensioners for hundreds of £k pays its staff so well that they can consider buying 245k sports cars. I think you show extreme bad taste in not wanting this pointing out.

I am not disputing anything to do with the loss of funds and believe that if anything goes wrong in any financial institution then it should be dealt with correctly and with the full force of the law.
What I am disgusted at is the use of a near-fatal car crash that almost killed two people to make a point and ‘sensationalise’ a story.
Free speech indeed, and that was my only point. Last time I checked, free speech didn’t cost anything, nor did being paid for an opinion overrule that of another person who is contributing for free. Would your opinion of my opinion change if I wrote for The Times? I should hope not.
