Another victim of charlatan Darren Winters has come forward. Ms L from London is being pursued by Winters for c£10,000 – fees for his “last ever” apprenticeship programme she declined to pay because she cancelled. Oddly despite Winters stating that this was to be his last ever programme he has run several since. The Winters Company, The Wealth Training Company LLP has now filed court papers. Unluckily for them…

Then not only should Ms L not be obliged to pay him a penny if she’s been snared but she should be entitled to be refunded everything she has already paid on the grounds it was mis-sold. End of. Clear as day.
By way of an analogy, a few years ago I bought an original limited edition (though not very expensive) lithograph by Klaus Voormann, the chap who designed The Beatles’ Revolver album cover (not that I’m really a fan of the cover), of John Lennon after he’d collapsed through exhaustion into his cooked breakfast the morning after a night of gigging in Hamburg with lit cigarette still in hand. It was a limited edition by virtue of being one of only I think 100 he’d pledged to produce. Accordingly, if he’d subsequently gone on to produce more I’d have a right to be refunded (not that I’d ask to be as I love the work).
Winters must be desperate as well as hubristic. In any event, £13000 FFS?! Are he and his minions stage hypnotists? That must be some course – to put that into perspective, it would buy you almost half a degree’s worth of tuition these days from one of the most expensive accredited UK universities!

I am sure it will be a great comfort to Aiden Earley’s Christian heart that his money is being used for such a noble cause. Got get the bastard. If he settles out of court make sure the settlement includes a generous donation to the fighting fund so Winters can gain the same comfort as our friend Aiden.
