I am on cold turkey already. This was the last episode of the worst ever TV reality series ever – Life on Marbs. Surely even ITV cannot bring this rubbish back. Anyhow what happened in Marbs in episode 12?

Yeah ………. pop over to help the Kurdish women frontline fighters take on ISIS . They are very well covered up and very brave so you wont be troubled by any “feelings” . The experience , should you survive it , will make you feel alive again .

It’s nothing to do with bare flesh, in fact I quite enjoy it. It’s just sad, yet grimly fascinating, to see into the self regarding bubble that these self absorbed people live in, the vanity, the exhibitionism, and all that empty stuff about ‘relationships’. And the women? What do they want, other than attention, it would seem, now that marriage and family is out of fashion. What do these people do all day? And regarding the Kurdish women, well it seems that every society has to go to war to gain its freedom, but once the blood has been shed, and the battle won, it seems a pity to exchange that blood for sun tan lotion. Surely that’s the point, but then the freedom in indivisible. To get a fake tan when the sun is out is what freedom is for, it seems, and freedom from the past, well that’s another freedom. Ultimately the argument seems to be about nothing more than taste, who has it, who wants it, who’s got it. Not much in Marbs it seems…….
