I sincerely hope that the oxymorons at AIM Regulation and the chocolate teapots at the FCA look into what surely must be one of the most blatant cases of insider dealing I have ever seen. No news on the tables, yet the shares are up 53% today and this evening, after-hours, the company has been forced to issue the following RNS:

Insider dealing yet again, and again cant be too hard to find out who was buying all those shares given the volumes.
And they don’t even try to hide it, because they know nothing will happen.
I’m off now to watch a fantastical tv prog about a man that can run very fast ( no not Steve Austin) and do all kinds of clever speed things while combating evil but its nothing to the fantasy that Aim is a fair market
Don’t hold your breath for an investigation Nigel

Its not insider dealing, 40000 shares max £50,000 in total hardly worth getting into a fuss over. If you cared to read the RNS giving notice of the results they stated targets had been identified and gave the date for the half year report. Not exactly rocket science to guess that it was likely news was very close on the investment/RTO targets.
Given also this hit £2.20 intraday on the investment of Ashcroft/Dacre/Skinner in May it was a decent buy at around the £1 level.
Shame you experts don’t spend less time bitzhing about things and start tipping what could be quality situations like this?

The level of greed, deception and arrogance of these people never fails to shock me.

Daz – I make no comment as to the relative merits of this company as an investment proposition. Given what looks like a strong management team I am sure you are probably correct to imply that it looks good. The point here is that yes, the market knew that targets had been identified, but given the trading action yesterday it would appear that someone either got incredibly lucky or something leaked out. The RTO RNS after-hours yesterday shows that there was something significant going on.
I hope the authorities take a close look at who was buying yesterday. Either someone was insider trading or they got very lucky with their timing. Either was I think we should be told.
The market is supposed to offer a level playing field, after all. I would imagine that the company would be keen to ensure that all investors have the same opportunity – as would the Nomad, as is required by market rules.
One final point, I hope that this company does do well for its shareholders. I have no gripe there at all.

Nigel. They got very lucky, joined the dots and took a reasonable sized holding. I do know that’s the case. Don’t need to say anymore but I am 100% certain no insider dealing took place.
The stock is so illiquid it moves on nothing look at the free float and the large holdings. This was a very ripe cash rich shell with some real heavy weights in the wings, the last RNS prior to today’s was the tell.
We don’t know yet what the targets are or the structure to fund such will be, it could well be suspended for months and come back below the closing price.
A calculated gamble on a share that had been followed for months and let’s see how it develops from here.
I can assure The deputy sheriff if AIM he need not look here for any insider dealing, the holder of 14000 of yesterday’s purchases does not move in the same social circle that lord Ashcroft moves in or is aware of any of any business dealings not in the public domaine of this company.
I hope that satisfies your curiosities in this situation?

Daz – it sounds as though you should be congratulated then! But it looks to me as though 50k went through yesterday pm, so 36k shares have still gone to some other lucky holders.
It still looks, on the face of it, pretty blatant, but from what you suggest it just could be that in fact all is above board. I hope so.
A final thought, would it not be a good thing if the market were told that it had been looked into and that all was well? I would have thought that any lucky punter from yesterday would be very happy to take a phone call to establish that, in the interests of market integrity etc.
Anyway, it seems that you are to be congratulated on some prescient timing – best of luck with it!
Daz
Nigel congratulate me if it hits £3 plus in the next six months! Thanks for your comments and I am glad I could offer at least some comfort to the questions your article raised. All the best.

Hi I use a piece of software called Investorease. This shows the shares returning from suspension on Christmas Eve at 21875p. I am assuming this is a glitch as I can find nothing to support this elsewhere. No metion on the internet since 30th October 2015 and my usual reliable source of information Hargreaves Lansdown does not seem to quote this AIM stock. Anyone know anything current?
