On 9th November Motive Television (MTV), in an announcement entitled “TabletTV Plus to begin selling in United States” was pleased to announced that its joint venture “will begin taking pre-orders for TabletTV Plus at one minute past midnight EST on Thursday 12 November”. Today, an announcement entitled, er, “TabletTV Plus begins selling in United States”, is a news release from the joint venture leading with… “it will begin taking pre-orders at 00:01 AM ET, Thursday, November 12th for TabletTV Plus”!...

Did they mention that they have an Apple APP for use on iOS. Always good to mention that you have an Apple APP and don’t forget to mention that you have an Apple APP and don’t forget to mention that it is available from the Apple APP Store.

Good to have a product that works on the Apple TV and an Apple iOS APP available from the Apple APP Store. Don’t forget to mention that you have an Apple TV Apple iOS APP available from the Apple APP Store and just in case mention it a few times just in case people do not notice your association with Apple…. just in case people don’t notice.
Also good if it is limited availability pre-order and don’t forget to mention that it works on the Apple TV and you have an Apple iOS APP available from the Apple Store… All the BBM’s will be salivating at the prospect of being bought out by Apple.. Happy Days. Time to Average Down.

Well that smells like a big bucket of fail. You expect people to pair their Apple Shiny Shiny with Non Apple Tut? Face meet Palm. OK.. OK Mention you have an Android version and it works with Chrome Cast. Perhaps Google will put in a bid.. Arrrgh, it doesn’t work with Chrome Cast? C’mon!

Just a moment. Maybe they can release a flood of RNS’s keeping shareholders appraised of how many people have pre-booked. Supplement that with a Web Page showing the numbers like what GSR have done.
Oooh better still say pre-order demand is so high that they got the numbers wrong on the supply chain so there will be a 3 month fulfilment delay whilst they ramp up production to restock the initial production run of 100…. damn, Christmas.
