As you might expect from a man on cold turkey in the nicotine department I am not in a good mood. Send me an ars-ish tweet and you are blocked, call me with a daft conspiracy theory (flip flop take note) and I curse you. I comment en passant on the Horse Hill ramping and it is ramping by David Lenigas and others. I comment on 88 Energy (88E) and on Tertiary Minerals (TYM), on Frontier Resources (FRI), Outsourcery (OUT), GTS Chemical (GTS) and Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP). And I discuss a prediction by a Nomad that 250 of the 1000 companies on AIM will disappear by Christmas so allowing me to retire which I shall do.

Day 2 of giving up is the worst. Day 3 is better than day 2 but still worse than day1. After that it does get better so that by the end of a week the physical symptoms will largely have gone. Thereafter it is just the psychological addiction, which unfortunately you will never completely break.
Sick with it. Think about how much tax you are depriving the government of to spunk away on over paid and lazy public servants and benefits scroungers.

Ooops Kenny Everett moment… Stick with it. You might get fit enough to pick up Benefits Street and give him a cuddle whilst getting ‘On Top’ of ‘The Olympics’ elsewhere… not sure what the Lefty Wife, Girls on Top, might think about that one though.

Try eCigarettes. After several failed attempts it worked for me. I can now walk up hill without panting for breath. I even found cutting down to evenings only was not too difficult, just in case there are more toxins than they claim and it is still nicotine which is probably not quite a superfood.

Dear Tom, as a chain smoker , smelling like shit , breathing like shit, looking like shit, I gave up . Two months of hell, then you are free to enjoy, good health, great sex, and an apetite for life, hold out for the 2 months, grim but the rewards are tremendous, I am now working on booze, just do it .

Sabbatical – yes I failed. I relied on others who did not step up to the plate. That will not happen again.
Retirement I have only until now talked of as an aspiration. What I’d like to do. There are things happening now which make me think that actually either retiring or amending the business model so that Im only writing when I feel like it might be both possible & desirable.
Heck what happens to you if I do quit. Your sole purpose in life seems to be to come onto this website to berate or smear me. What would you do to entertain yourself if I was not writing? Maybe I should carry on just in order to give your life some meaning.

Tom,
Don’t let them wind you up. If they want to over pay for shares in the HH runners and riders, you can’t save them. You have done your bit to warn those who have an open mind. When the discounted placings are done some of the others will realise you were right too. However most will continue ramping madly as ever and will never learn.
