I wanted to think the bears were wrong on utilitywise. its not hyped and ramped on the BBs, it doesn’t have a lennigas figure behind it. As you pointed out Woodford is in heavy and although he isn’t always right he isn’t an idiot (except with Rightster?). However, how many bad companies have we seen recently that manipulate the reviews? a lot. its a hallmark of frauds really isn’t it.
The interesting thing about these reviews is that they are literate, relevant and varied. I don’t see any copy and paste or any obvious patterns other than general blandness. I do wonder if them all appearing at once was legitimate. for example in response to bad reviews did utilitywise send a note round to all their exisiting customers saying something like ‘please give us a review and we will give you money off next bill’ or similar etc. its within the realm of possibility. I do note that almost every user that gave the reviews has only ever given one review on the site, however this doesn’t rule out the above theory.
Either way these don’t have the same quality as the internet fake reviews from the wrong country etc.
Hmmmm, going to be watching this one closely.
