I shall not curse West Ham by going to watch the match tonight at The Conservative Club but for Striebs and others I am aware what is happening. Instead I shall be watching the new series of Grantchester with the Mrs and Oakley and I recommend it to one and all. I look at the latest Horse Shite ramp from David "I am incapable of telling the truth" Lenigas and flag up a placing rumour at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and also Regency Mines (REG). I look at the Pathfinder (PFP) disaster in detail and at Driver (DRV) where the curse of Steve "shagger" Norris strikes again. Madgascar Oil (MOIL) confirms that minority shareholders will be buggered and I look at the farce at Edenville (EDL). So that is three companies operating in Bongo Bongo land where PIs have been screwed today. Then there is a detailed look at games developer Frontier (FDEV) where the valuation is a rum and coke even after today's profits warning.

The vile anti-Eden is a farce indeed – 10 billion+ shares now I believe. How fitting that the head honcho’s surname is Short. Speaking of which, I wonder if Christopher has taken out a position in the last couple of days…

JPS – EDL is not as much of a farce as Kibo…. it kncoks AFPO off its perch for most expensive loan in history… £630k fee for a £1.5m loan! V surprised TW hasn’t got his claws into that as it’s a rip off for PIs.

Well I’d say it’s a close run thing SF (you’re not Sally Schofield posting under a pseudonym are you?:-)). Maybe they should join forces given their mutual interest in the Rukwa coalfields.
Seriously – they’re sitting on vast deposits of thermal quality coal (not great but satisfactory) in a country largely configured for hydroelectric power generation but pone to drought (which genius was responsible for that?) and yet – in the case of EDL, at least – they’re still issuing shares like confetti.

PFP – Who set up and owned IM Minerals, the company that was reversed into PFP and supposedly had the licence?
Tim Baldwin of RAM, CTFA and TXO infamy!
IM never had the licence, they only had a option on the licence which they needed to pony up another $10m on, but that was not made clear in the Admission Document.
General Veloso has been playing the legal game for years. It does not matter what any court decides, he will just appeal and file new motions. He will win in the end through a war of attrition. Anybody looking a funding PFP ongoing legal costs would be mad, which will be why nobody has.
The whole thing was described to me as one bunch of shysters shafting another bunch of shysters. One of whom was our good friend Tim Baldwin.
He tucked away a lot of the shares he got out of the reverse into Hill Street Investments (In administration) and had some in his own name, but he did not sell and sat and watched as they became more and more worthless – Tim loves collecting worthless shares.
The secured creditor of Hill Street (Hill Street Mayfair to offices in the Regus Hotel Watford to the HIV clinic in Northampton – the decline of Tim Baldwin) Thames Valley Capital, or more specifically Tim’s Mate Bruce Gordon, who called in the administrators eventually, had the opportunity to tell the Administrators to dump the lot when there was a spike in PFP because some ruling or other had gone in their favour and everyone thought that was game on. Until Veloso appealed. Bruce wanted more for the shares – it still was not going to completely cover his loss. There has been no TR1 saying Hill Street have sold since even when the price spiked on news that HMRC had wiaved a VAT bill, so well done Bruce, smart move again. The funny thing about Bruce is that even though he had called in the Administrators at Hill Street, he then went and backed Tim’s next train wreck CTFA.
Maybe Bruce should apply for the job of turning SGH round.

Always admired your judgment until now. Grantchester – decided to stop it after 15 mins and later returned to check on my decision. I was right first time. Unconvincing actors and plot.
