Powerhouse Energy hits back - says Nomad Allenby backed it in misleadng investors & denies fraud in leaked email

Powerhouse Energy (PHE) withheld information from its investors for almost two years (the non payment of a legal claim) and then again failed to mention that this dispute was going legal for six weeks. It thus misled investors who bought shares in the secondary markets and in two placings on that false prospectus. I think that is slam dunk fraud as explained HERE. The Company has now hit back in an email to an ex investor - which I have obtained - saying that Nomad Allenby knew all about this withholding on information so it is kosher? That charge against Allenby is grave and it needs to respond to the email below discussing our coverage:

Comments

  1. Powerhouse Energy

This company and ALL of the claims made by Keith Alluan is an absolute fucking joke. The reponse should be read in conjunction with the knowledge that this bare faced liar was spouting hyperbole ridden positivity about Pyromex only a couple of months before it was binned for good. This man can try to blame others whilst drawing a salary from this utter joke. This is just a self interested bastard looking out for himself.

I pity anyone who was taken in by this lying idiot and the NOMAD is as much to blame. They took their fees whilst they had the nose in the trough too.

Tom, you villified W H Ireland (and it was utterly deserved in their case), this is in some ways almost worse. This utter trainwreck of a company has been robbing investors for well over a decade. How does any sensible person not see this – let alone a so called professional firm. Any firm appointing Allenby is a clearly an avoid by default from here on in.

My condolences to investors in PHE as there were clearly some recent investors taken in by this pack of lies.

  2. I’m a small shareholder of Powerhouse and once whilst Keith was in the U.S. he arranged to return my call on a Sunday and took the time to address my questions .

Those are not the actions of “just a self interested bastard looking after himself” .

My opinion is that KA is a sincere person who for the last 12 months has been in an almost impossible situation but has had the guts not to take the easy option of resigning .

Since Alter Nrg (TSX) were bought out by Chinese customer last year, there are only 3 listed companies offering exposure to thermal destruction of waste to produce syngas ; 1) Pyrogensis (TSX , concentrating more on high value niches of plasma gasification rather than waste destruction ) , 2) an obvious Chinese fraud listed in the U.S. , 3) Powerhouse Energy .

Powerhouse are now the only listed company really pursuing this neglected field concentrating on turnkey units of a size which requires only site modification permits , not full planning permission .

It’s very easy to decry their efforts but their efforts have been authentic and brave.

  3. Toast by PHE

As an example how the PI is looked upon by some whom clearly have their own interests at heart. This is Peter Bond’s response to an email pointing him, CEO and ex Nomad to the bearcast. Peter Bond is the owner of Hillgrove, the main bankers funding PHE.

    Peter Bond (peterbond@bondgroup.com.au)
    To: Keith Allaun Cc: xxxxx
    peterbond@bondgroup.com.au
Keith Who is this dick-head Eric?
This guy must walk around “wanting” to fall in a black hole.
His no longer a shareholder, clearly states he sold 15 months ago, and the only reason he could sell out 15 months ago was because Hillgrove investments and the board of Phe kept the company going, otherwise he’d have lost everything years ago.

If he is trusting the “system” to protect him, his in for a rude awakening.

Anyway as you say “good luck to him”.

Unfortunately it doesn’t change the reality the guy is a total dick-head, whom wakes up as one and goes to bed as one.

    Regards
    Peter Bond

    Sent from my iPhone

And then he fires off another volley after I have explained my position and losses over a 6 month period, after I have explained how long it took me to get my investment together (several years), and lose near 50% of it in such a short time. Enjoy, it’s humbling, or guess Peter Bond thought so.

Me calling you a dick head is a truthful summary of what and whom I believe you are purely based on my opinion and the facts of the email you sent.

You see Eric, you seem happy to “gloat” over other people’s mis-fortune, which really is not any-ones fault, except in my opinion the Nomad. Whether the Nomad behaved legally or not is less of a question of did they behave morally and reasonably. And the answer to that is clearly NO, they did not act reasonably. If they as the Nomad wanted to move on from acting on behalf of Phe they should have told the board up-front that was there intention and the board could have acted to re-place them with another Nomad, simple and reasonable.

However they did not do that, Allenby waited till there payments were made and 100% up to date and then jump ship in a minute.
How is that in the companies and shareholders interests?

My point is, clearly I’m my opinion it is not in anyone interests but there own.

Now for you to find some way to gloat about that, indeed to find joy in others mis-fortune is as the Germans say, you are a
    “Schadenfreude”…
However being an Australian, I’m pretty certain that translates to “Dick-Head”.
Of course I could be mis-taken, as I am only Australian.

In terms of loses, I believe I’m holding around $7million at the moment or more.

Eric. I had a choice, I could have cried and gotten up-set and disappointed in losing my original investment of around $3million, or I can try and become part of the solution and help create a great company that earns me a great deal of money on the back of these early set-backs.

I agree with you the original people involved with Powerhouse behaved in an incorrigible and extraordinary poor manner. And I for one have certainly not forgiven them for it.

However when your faced with a sinking ship with the loss of all hands, you can cry and lament the loss and blame and curse those who did it with your last breath.
Or you can try to fix the ship and save everyone.

That is what the current board of powerhouse have done, there saving the ship mate, and they are doing a good job of it, the company has moved a long way forward and it is gaining momentum.
Allenbys selfish act though legal, is akin to underarm bowling, you may win the day, but you’re stained forever from a poor decision.

The Powerhouse business philosophy and concept is in my opinion one of the best in the world.

The company can take the waste of a city and turn it into electricity, virtually ending the need of landfill tips and coal fired power-stations in a single blow.

Anything that is that “Big” my freind is by its very nature difficult.

I’m sorry you lost money mate, but that’s not my fault or Keith Allaun’s or the Boards.

For the way I called you a dick-head for being someone that gloats upon the mis-fortune of others, I think that statement stands. For you are not only mocking those that are victims, but your trying to stand in the way of those that are “trying”. They are trying to save the ship and put it upon the right course, and that takes courage and hard work, so instead of mocking people that a “having a go”, either be silent or say something encouraging. The reality is you don’t know how far the company has come, nor do you know what could come, so if a group of shareholders wish to stay on the ship and conclude the journey, then let them, It’s what I did, none of us want your advice. Your not a shareholder and your not an executive. You have an opinion, that’s it.

I could if you’d prefer change it from “Dick-head” to Schadenfreude” instead, if that makes you feel any better.

    “Negativity Helps No-one”.

And I’m guessing it hasn’t helped you either.

    Regards
    Peter Bond
