Caption Contest of the Week: The People's Assembly workshy bimbo edition

The People's Assembly are folks who reject the choice of those who actually voted in the last Election. With millionaire lefties such as Russell Brand and Charlotte Church involved you may guess that everyone writing here - bar Malcolm Stacey - views them with contempt. Thus we invite you to suggest captions for the picture below. You have all week to think about it, the deadline is midnight Sunday 24 April

  1. turbograndad

The only confusion is her dress sense, but it would painstakingly imply that Tories are high achievers via the clapped out, and bogus mantra of Thatcherism, and not so free market rogue, and aggressive capitalism. She has by default bought into this sham narrative of Alan Spunkdan,
I would at this moment in time with the Whippingdale, say to all TORIES, “LICK MY BOOTS”.

  2. The gorgeous Dr Alice Roberts hopes no one recognises her whilst dressed as mad Scots woman and asserting her left wing views .

  3. ….er … she has a point.

  4. JASPERTHERDOG

Phew! I don’t want to belong to any club that would have her as a member.

  5. I second that Marvel.

  6. I’d rather ride a symbian in public, wearing a liverpool (scum) shirt, than be a tory crony scumbag!

  7. warun boofit

Henrietta Peabody dresses the part and is pictured on her way to be interviewed by Jeremy Corbyn for the position of labour shadow culture secretary. Jeremy originally had Charlotte Church lined up to get the job but she turned up for interview at Jeremys house at 4am with her ghetto blaster and singing Crazy Chick, the police in South Wales heard the racket and came to take her away.

  8. With some hard work and determination, PA will one day achieve the status of “low achiever”.

  9. SHOW ME THE CASH

Bristol Young Conservatives given truth pills at recent meeting

  10. Really! tories are mostly networked low achievers with inherited wealth…look at RGM!

  11. J P Spaghetti

Pamela Stephenson is sill quite a catch, but it’s those tartan leggings she borrowed from hubby Billy that catch the eye as she waits eagerly outside what she mistakenly thinks – based on the crowds outside – is the venue for the one-off Sex Pistols reunion gig she’s been hoping to catch!

  12. Mohammed Karm

Or an MXO investor. Where’s the money from Nigeria Stefanny? Any ideas when it’s coming TW?

  13. How about a change to her caption?

“I’d Rather Be ANYONE or ANYTHING than an illiterate wanker like Tom Winnifrith”

To which 99.99999999999999999999999999% of the world replies: “Who the fuck is Tom Winnifrith”

  14. NNMC2

Gosh using rude words anonymously. You are such a big man, we are all really impressed by your wit & bravado

    Best wishes

    Tom Winnifrith

PS On your maths less than 1 person on this planet has heard of me. Me, you, the Mrs, the 50 odd thousand folks who read this website last week. Dare I suggest mr cowardly fucktard that your maths is not quite Oxford postgraduate level?

  15. SHOW ME THE CASH

I’d rather be a cowardly fucktard keyboard warrior than a fat Jabba

    Can you help me please?

    Best regards, NNMC2

  16. Actually, my dear chap, I am ‘anonymous’ merely by virtue of the fact that you banned me from commenting after I’d made a couple of pretty innocuous comments in the past. That’s how ‘brave’ you are.

As a consequence of the above mentioned fact, I didn’t think my comment would be published, and I submitted it for little more than idle amusement.

Had I known you’d publish my comment, I’d have backed up my observations with a few examples of your illiteracy.

“Publically”? “Occassion”? Oh dear! And that’s only 2 of the most egregious of your most recent efforts at spelling big words! There are numerous others. Dare I suggest Mr Winnifrith, that your grammar is not quite primary school level? Tut! Tut!

I would suggest to you, sir, that you are the only ‘journalist’ on the planet that has the narcissistic gall to berate a NOMAD for the careless spelling of its client’s name in an article REPLETE with misspellings! In my experience at least, no other journalist lacks the most rudimentary degree of self-awareness of his or her own failings as you do. You will, of course, be familiar with the term ‘projection’ – at least as in how it relates to making criticisms of others at any rate.

Of course, you are not a journalist at all. You are an excuse for a journalist.

Though I will allow that your broadcasts can be mildly funny on the odd occasion. (That’s right, only one ‘s’!)

    Best wishes,

Nigel McCullough (You see, I don’t mind publicly stating my name. (That’s right, ‘ly’ not ‘ally’)
    Belfast

  17. Cressida puts her three Cambridge degrees in Social Justice to good use.

  18. Incidentally, Mr Winnifrith, I hadn’t read your earlier comment about my alleged poor maths with sufficient care. On later reflection, I must enquire of you: is it really the case that 99.999 etc etc of circa 7.4 billion people is less than 1 person? Are there any qualified mathematicians amongst Mr Winnifrith’s miniscule audience? If so, can they reassure us that our most admired chief number cruncher is not innumerate as well as illiterate?

    TW note that would be 99.999 ( 27 nines in total) of 7.4 billion had not heard of me. 10% of 7.4 billion is 740 million 1% 74 million 0.1% 7.4 million 0.01% 740k 0.001% 74k 0.0001% 7.4k 0.00001% 740 0.000001% 74 0.0000001% 7.4 0.00000001% three quarters of a person. And I still have c20 of this fuckwit's zeros to play with

  19. Now, now, Mr Winnifrith, we’ll have less of the gratuitous insults, please. That’s what you allegedly banned me for in the past. Though I can assure you that my previous remarks were no where near as lame as yours. Please maintain a measure of decorum as befits your journalistic standing. Or, perhaps you are.

Thank you for proving my point concerning your innumeracy. (And I note in passing you have said nothing regarding my proofs of your illiteracy). You can’t even count up to 26 properly – that being the ACTUAL number “of nines in total”.

Is this the level of skill and care you bring to your analysis of spreadsheets and balance sheets? I should jolly well hope not, my good man.

In regard to the “fuckwits” and fucktards” and so on. Give it a rest, sonny. What was that word I mentioned earlier? Projection?

  20. People’s Assembly University considers changing current motto: vincere pigritia

  21. As a last comment: I have really only been pulling your leg a bit, Tom. I actually think you are fairly good at what you do. You are certainly informative about the collection of crooks on AIM, and, as I intimated above, your Bearcasts can be quite funny too.

The main problem is that the quality of your stuff goes up and down like the proverbial whore’s drawers. But fair play to you for the amount of stuff you knock out. Keep it up! Even your most crappy efforts are readable, at least. And usually interesting.

There, that’s the last bit of praise you’re ever likely to get from me.

Since you didn’t like my original suggestion for changing the message on the lady’s placard, how about we compromise with this one:

“Cheryl Cole, Winnifrith? I wouldn’t even let you fuck me!”

  22. J P Spaghetti

Re. the ongoing spat, multiply the reciprocal of the number of people on the planet by 100 and you have the %age of the global population that makes up a single person. I.e.,

    1 person constitutes (1/(7.4e9)) x 100% = (1/(7.4e7))% = 1.35e-8% = 0.0000000135%

of it. All but one of this, then, equals

    (1-(1.35e-8))% = 0.9999999865%,

which is indeed less than the quantity given by TW’s detractor, and so makes no physical sense, but language, of course, can be figurative and need not be literal (just saying). Perhaps by “the world” he was also referring to the animal kingdom, but I think the figure would be too great even including amoeba. Perhaps even including grains of sand. This, in any event, would be something of a moot point as they would not be able to reply to her caption, rendering the statement truly figurative at best. Hey-ho!

PS Anyone catch Oxford get pummeled by Cambridge on UC the night before last (I think), by the way? Got some real sitters wrong…

  23. Matius Minstrel

DocHoliday is a proven #charlatan. He states he’s not a ‘Financial advisor’ Yet forms a company telling bods he’s an “Investment Consultant” Check out this Tommo. A fooking fraud. He’s a crook. He’s got no financial qualifications. Just woke up one day and called himself an “investment consultant” He’s been at it for nearly a year conning people on twitter and London South East AND on YOUR SITE TOM! The mans a joke. Is this where the cash gets rinsed from the comps he pumps? Hope you’re not involved Thomas?

Re. my last post, the following might have been clearer

“which is indeed less than the quantity given by TW’s detractor, this quantity, then, making no physical sense,”.

(And the poster does realise that 0.6666666666666666666666666666666 is less than 0.67?)

  25. JP Spaghetti

What the fuck are you wittering about? And why your upside down fucking nines?

Here’s the answer to your quandary: I submitted my original comment without any expectation of it being published. So I didn’t fucking count the nines. I generated them by holding my finger down on the ‘9’ key for a completely arbitrary period of time. As I have said above, I was only twitting Tom for a while.

  26. Minstrel1

Is this the same Whitlow, that pumps and dumps stocks, the one who was banned by twitter then came back on another account? dds-docholiday? Writes for shareMuppets? Hey Tom were you aware of this? One of your “Writers”, and I use that term in the most loosely possible sense, has been operating as an Investment CON sultant, with no qualifications or training whatsoever other than he got a C in maths. pmsl…

Well, well, well. He’s been skewered, caught in yet another tissue of lies. This doesn’t surprise me and most who follow, trade and invest on the markets.
AIM is a sewer populated y rats like this.

    Financial CONsultant what an idiot!

I’m a heart surgeon. By virtue I bought some lambs hearts at Tesco.

“And why your upside down fucking nines?”

“And why your upside down fucking nines?”

So funny – in fact, so good I quoted it twice! In any event, though, 666 is the number of the beast (and yes – I know there’ve been developments re. that but I’m a traditionalist), and it’s by way of a nod to Lord Satan. You know, there’s actually a commandment in a branch of Satanism that decrees that thou shalt not harm little children. I weighed it up against not coveting one’s neighbour’s ox.

What about you (no offence, but I’m guessing you’re not a numerologist!)?

  30. Kayserasera

Maria Eagle goes undercover to celebrate promotion to Labour shadow cabinet!

  31. JP Spaghetti

You’re right, I’m not. Nor am I so bereft of gainful employment that I have the time to listen to your fucking spastic ramblings.

  32. J P Spaghetti

“Nor am I so bereft of gainful employment that I have the time to listen to your fucking spastic ramblings.”

What – after you’d posted five times before I even did the maths for you (after YOU requested that someone do so)? What a decidedly odd and testy fellow you are. Very saucy. What a saucy Rory indeed! One with more than a single white pubical, methinks.

  33. Gareth Jones

It’s a bimbo’s cheap advert to be Chris Oil’s new PR. Waving it in public may arouse the attention of NMCC2 for correction,
