Disclosure: Financial Investigative Media Limited, which is not owned by Tom Winnifrith but by a trust for his dependants, owns shares in companies mentioned in this article. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
I have received a number of emails and texts asking if I am worried that shares in Optibiotix (OPTI) are 67-69p having fallen back of late. No I am not but to stem the flow of questions...
Sensible folk I know were picking up shares in the mid sixties earlier today. I contacted Steve O'Hara the CEO who is a bit restricted in what he can say given that results are out on Thursday. But in answer to the question "is anything wrong?" he stated:
Nothing wrong. In fact better than before Xmas when the price was over 80p. Since then science has advanced with new discoveries, 40 more patents, commercial deals with big corporates, and sales of first products with great customer reviews with a lot more to come. Interims on Thursday.
I am not selling any of our shares. The stance is buy at up to 80p and we expect to see 100p+ within months.
Never miss a story.
