Aidan Earley will serve me later today with a libel suit. Very decently - and I mean that - he emailed me an advance copy last night. He has put it up on his website and I link to it below. I draw your attention to page 3 (oooh er missus).
"The claimant (Earley) has a reputation." I should cocoa. And that is why he will not win or get any damages. My legal advisers have been all over this since last night and it goes without saying that we will fight as this document is full of factual errors and material ommissions.
If I lose, I have no assets - contrary to one of Aidan's many misleading claims - and will declare myself bankrupt, close ShareProphets and retire to Greece to tend olives and goats. AIM fraudsters and folks like charlatan Darren Winters will no doubt celebrate.
But I do not intend to lose and the legal advisers regard this as a joke by a man who has stated in writing that his actions are not about securing redress for him (or even to pay back folks from his last bankruptcy) but about stopping me writing and shutting Shareprophets down. I ask you: who benefits from that?
So we will defend this to the bitter end and we will also go on the offensive too as you can see HERE. And that is just our opening shot.
You can read Earley's claim in full HERE
Never miss a story.
