I received a decent response to my first article on the Great man so I’m going to write another one! Let’s look at how Warren Buffett views work, and how your attitude should be towards it now. After all, for most people doing paid employment will be the main method of funding for purchasing shares. Here’s a quote from the Sage of Omaha. “The truth is, so few people really jump on their jobs, you really will stand out more than you think. You will get noticed if you really go for it.”

I dont like Warren Buffett ……………… he is a clever dick . Its no good at all what he is doing . Telling all these morons how to invest . Hows a chap like me supposed to make any decent money with educated morons everywhere ? No good at all . Buffett should stick to wanking ( when the market is closed of course ) Its what he is good at .

I really hate my job and I only work part-time. I have stacked shelves in a supermarket for the past 12 years and earn around £8k a year. A manger who earns anything from £24k to £50k and lives and breaths the business 24 hours per day loves his job, why? Money. I am going to work at 17.00 till 22.00 today and earn around £30 pounds a shift but at present I am trading shares and writing this and having a cup of tea. I could lose a years pay or make a years pay in a day. Fitbug which I sold to early around 4.75p made me a few years pay this is why we all play this game. I believe work less and invest more and if you run out of money get a job and if you am no good at investing write a book on it. My Dad worked all his life at the same firm and did well until he was made redundant by the receiver and the firm lost his pension. So much for working hard for someone else. Research a company and the people behind it and invest in it, if it go’s wrong find out why then pop to the job centre get a job to have another go.:) Great Article

David …………. sorry to hear your dads former employer stole his pension pot .It was one of the worse crimes in the last 30 years in my opinion when all those people lost their life contributions . Both my pension funds have massive funding black holes and both are former blue chip companies ! Luckly I have not needed them yet so hopefully they will pull it back in shape by the time I wish to partake . just goes to show what you say …….. you cant count on anyone but yourself when it comes down to it .

wildrides you am 100% correct you cant count on anyone but yourself when it comes down to it. I have just finished work early because they need to save hours. Instead of £30 I earned around £18 pound. They do not care if I have a family to feed. Thank god for the stockmarket to put food on my table. lol. My brothers pension is the same and they sent him a letter to up his percentage of pay which to me is a joke
