A dead cat bounce for the FTSE 100 but the rally should extend

The FTSE bounced back strongly as expected. When the index is deeply oversold, bounces can be powerful. During the decline the timing indicators 13-day BTI and Top 20 Differential reached extremely low levels not seen since the credit crunch of 2007-2008.
