Back on 9 September 2014 Quenron (QPP) announced that it had defeated the brave ad heroic campaigners for truth and justice known as Gotham City Research in a libel case. Of course like everything else Quindell announced that was not exactly true but what is happening now?

The real question isn’t in relation to Gotham. It’s how long after the NOMAD resigns and PwC writes off 2/3 of their accrued income do they actually release an RNS stating such? Is it going to be quicker than the 3 weeks the Cannacord announcement took now that Rob Terry has abandoned ship? Or will the other directors resign and sell off so they get something from (what’s worth) nothing before releasing the death blow?

Those questions were asked in future tense. So now that the “judgement” has been levied those same questions are relevant again in the present text.
I still think the question really should be what happens with the directors and the former owners of companies bought by Quincashless who are still in their tie in periods?

Tom can you write the “Tom winifrith version of the pwc report” outlining what Quindell subsidaries you would bin and why, which execs would go, and also what you would write down where?

Tom . the post looks like you had a pretty liquid lunch.
the problem with your argument is that most informed readers will realise that even if QPP were in the right (I am not saying they are) the publicity of a courtcase in the UK would not be worth the candle . Especially as any award they could get from you wouldn’t even cover the lawyers fees (as you frequently point out in some of your previous spats).
i.e a poor waste of shareholders money
in the case of a UK company trying to sue an American company in the USA courts … well.. any UK legal advise would be ‘don’t waste your time or money’ even if you are 120% in the right. It is one of the reasons that nearly all international agreements are signed under English law . The chances of a non-domestic company getting a ‘fair’ result in the US is quite low.

I refer to Simon’s post stating “that the chances of a foreign company getting a fair result in the US as quite low” and “don’t waste your time or money” even if your a 120% in the right, would be any UK legal advise.
Isn’t that argument somewhat flawed, given:-
Himax and Quindell are presently fighting a legal battle in the US courts, right now?
So would it be fair to assume, in this instance the legal advise was fight, you stand a good chance of winning!

I know they are defending an action bought by the minority shareholders of Navseeker.
The point I was trying to make was Himax/Quindell are choosing to fight this one out, rather than settle out of court. Therefore, they must had been advised they had a good chance of winning.
