Shanta Gold (SHG) will this year apply ’a big focus on improving efficiency’ and bringing down costs at its flagship New Luika gold mine in Tanzania, while contemplating potential corporate deals and developing its prospects in the Lupa goldfields, the mining-friendly East African country’s second largest known gold deposit, along with Singida in central Tanzania.
