Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Is your portfolio in a bear market, mine almost is so I discuss it
I start with a look at the portfolios of those who are crowing as they have aced it for months. I have a warning for them. Then I look at my own portfolio, at the issue of short vs longer term performance at the individual stocks at risk reward and at why I am happy. Under discussion: Mark Slater, Neil Woodford, Optibiotix (OPTI), Reach4Entertainment (R4E), Falanx (FLX), Concepta (CPT), Big Sofa (BST), Premaitha (NIPT). I failed to mention Sosandar (SOS) but I am very happy there too. My HMD podcast I refer to is HERE

Bear Raiders Kerrisdale rips into hapless Neil Woodford on twitter
Hapless Neil Woodford has poured out his heart to the poodle press, Citywire, bleating about how wicked bears Kerrisdale have been beastly about one of the largest - and most obviously overvalued - of the pack of dog investments in his Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT). The bears have bitten back!

Frontier Smart Technologies: A solid trading update, nothing more, but still a HOLD
A trading update this week from Frontier Smart Technologies (FST) and although it was solid enough, clearly some were hoping (including me) for an expectation beating update and the share price has come off a tad as a result. So where does it leave it.

Biome – nice update and still a BUY from me
At the end of November, Tom asked for a couple of short-term buy tips and I came up with Biome (BIOM) as one of them with a price at around 215p at the time. It has picked up a bit since then and following this week’s trading update, I thought I should provide an updated view and despite the price rise, this is still a BUY for me.

No Need to Cry Over Boohoo, the Summer Four-Bagger On-line Fashion Firm.
Hello Share Packers. It’s probable everyone knows the ASOS (ASC) story by now. The shares were once 7p and rose to about £70. The success was due to the fact that it was in the online clothing game at its beginning. Since then other companies have tried to sell fashion on screens and have not done as well.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Turning down a date with a hot blonde chez Winnifrith, I'm getting old
Okay it was Julie Meyer. Whatever I think of her she is fairly hot in a weird sort of way. Anyhow I explain all in today's podcast. I then move onto IGAS (IGAS), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Avanti Communications (AVN), Sabien (SNT) - statement nbeeded Roland "Fatty" Cornish? And finally to Paternoster Resources (PRS) - black bag needed Amanda Van Dyke? PS My NHS Lies podcast I mentioned is HERE

RedstoneConnect – emphasises “traded strongly”, but what about cash generation?
Previously updating on provider of technology and services for 'smart' buildings and commercial spaces, RedstoneConnect (REDS) last year I concluded at a now 167.5p (there’s been a 1:100 share consolidation) that the valuation looked high for the just reported numbers, but will not be on the suggested growth potential being delivered and the stock was on the watchlist. With the company’s year ending this month, we now have a Business Update…

Evil Banksta on the ramptastic Frontera Presentation
I rescue this post from our comments section as iut merits a wider audience. Waseem Shakoor was scathing about last night's Frontera (FRR) rampfest. Evil Banksta was there and reports:

Greene King: be patient - your pint is coming!
I laid out my updated positive view on pub operator Greene King (GNK) in early December HERE, since when the share has hardly been rampant despite a little bit of early New Year bid hope. On the latter, I think I have used up all my luck on that front with GKN year-to-date but frankly at the current valuation anything is possible.

Waseem Shakoor slates Frontera on its latest ramptastic presentation
The morally bankrupt and intellectually challenged PR fucktards at Yellow Jersey, who fund their miserable existences by helping shite companies such as Frontera Resources (FRR) ramp their worthless shares, organised an investor presentation last night for the faithful. By all accounts the wine flowed freely with the morons who attended not realising who was paying for it... it was them. Waseem Shakoor who is - rightly - short, as an £81 million market cap is absurd, notes:

Watchstone - Lack of Profits Warning and SFO update
For those who think Rob Terry,, the king of the fraudsters, has got away with the £3 billion Quindell (QPP) scam, there was confirmation today that the Serious Fraud Investigation continues. Actually you can see that on the SFO's website but that Watchstone (WTG) - Quenron wi8th a face lift - confirmed it suggests it is still co-operating. Of course it is. Its new managers loathe the criminal Terry. I do expect arrests this year. The other news - a lack of profits warning and again this is Terry's mess.

Premaitha Health - granted leave to appeal against Illumina court judgment - BUY
Updating on Premaitha Health (NIPT) earlier in the week we noted an up to £2.1 million loan facility agreement to fund costs related to the ongoing Illumina litigation and that a Form of Order hearing is scheduled to take place early this week. The shares are currently rising towards 5p on the back of a UK High Court grants right to appeal announcement from the company…

Can Hydrodec live up to its potential?
Often it is wise to exercise caution when there has been a big rise in share price on the smaller AIM outfits, but that isn’t always the case and sometimes the fortunes of the company genuinely have improved significantly.

There May Still Be Time to Take Advantage of that Soaraway Oil Price
Hello, Share Trekkies. The oil price still forges ahead. It’s around $71 for a barrel of Brent crude. And yet the big oil companies are not really reflecting the boom. However, they’ll probably catch up soon.

This time last year I concluded bearishly on Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito, Coast to Coast and Brunning & Price operator Restaurant Group PLC (RTN) as the shares headed towards 300p – noting there looked something of a perfect storm of issues. There’s now a post year-end Trading update…
