Strange share price action at Blenheim Natural Resources
Blenheim Natural Resources (BNR) isn’t exactly on my list favourite AIM companies to invest in, but even I have been surprised by the recent sizeable drop in share price.

Tom Winnifrith Mea Culpa Bearcast: Stanley Gibbons my apologies and lessons learned
Folks asked if I had learned any lessons from Stanley Gibbons (SGI), a dire share tip and a stock where I also did my conkers. I hope there are. In this last bearcast until I return in September (as discussed HERE) I look at the rationale for this tip and my errors.

Video: Gold bug and bitcoin fanatic Dominic Frisby's Poem for his Son
UK Investor Show favourite Dominic Frisby posted this poem from his stand-up comedy night last week. It's a filthy take on Rudyard Kipling's If, written for his son. WARNING: The language is Tom Winnifrith-esque, so it will probably not be appropriate for workplace speakers.

Avanti's next cash crunch could be far sooner than people think - in fact it could be in two weeks' time
It is not a matter of IF drowning in debt satellites company Avanti Communications (AVN) will eventually see a 100% shareholder wipeout ( right now it is c99%) but WHEN. And it might be rather sooner than most folks think. In two weeks time to be exact. Is there something that its CEO , the bombastric Welsh prick David Williams, is not telling us as he counts his $15-20 million winnings.

Monchhichi – hilarious stuff, it’s the old Highlands Natural manoeuvre
I last wrote about Monchhichi (MCC) in February HERE when it completed its underwhelming placing of £2.1 million at the incredible price of 35p and I wondered what it was going to do next. Well, rather than actually invest its funds and generate shareholder value it is has just announced some more financial spoofery last seen at the disastrous Highlands Natural Resources (HNR), It is worth taking a closer look.

Beer & Popcorn time: battle of the poltroons - Slater & Gordon serves Watchstone over Quindell con
Oh boy this is going to be fun. It is one of those battles where you want both sides to lose badly. Like Germany vs Argentina at football or a ratings war between Jonathan Ross and Simon Cowell. But Slater & Gordon (SGH) has now formally served Watchstone (WTG) with High Court proceedings claiming breach of warranty and/or fraudulent misrepresentation for a total amount of up to £637 million plus interest. Watchstone says it will defend this robustly. Boy this will be fun.

This Tasty Firm is No Chocolate Teapot
Hello Share Snatchers. What is it about the taste of chocolate? I never met anyone who didn’t love the stuff. And I reckon it’s pretty addictive. Otherwise, why should we eat nearly the whole box once we taste the first choccy?

Monitise – from 80p in 2014 and “well placed” at approaching 6p in 2015 to a recommended offer… at 2.9p!
Having previously attracted some adverse comment for bearishness on Monitise (MONI) – including at 50p+, I note the shares currently trade approaching 22% higher today, at 2.80p, on the back of a recommended cash offer for the company…

Kin Group – well that didn’t take ‘kin long; hits bailout funding share price limit
On the 15th May announcement from the former Fitbug, Kin Group (KIN) of bailout funding I noted amongst the conditions “the closing bid price of the company's ordinary shares (as reported by Bloomberg) not being below £0.001 (0.1 pence) for any five consecutive trading days on or prior to the relevant issue date” and later questioned how long the funding would continue. The company has now made a “Convertible Loan Notes update” announcement…

Mosman Oil & Gas over-reacts to very average news at best!
Private investors often seem to have very short memories, and although many have previously been badly burned by putting money into Mosman Oil and Gas (MSMN), some were flocking back into the company again today, sending its share price rocketing.

Ashtead's awesome strategy and numbers... so what to do now with the shares?
I last mused about industrial plant and tool hire company Ashtead (AHT) fourteen months ago, since when the shares have basically doubled. Happy days...but no resting on the laurels because correctly you should be asking the question of 'so what do we do right here and right now?' Fortunately, the company puckered up its full year results today so all the latest information is to hand.

Hal-o no again! – prospective HaloSource investor not re-applying for approval, c. 17 days to stave off insolvency for Woodford dog
Writing last week on HaloSource (HALO), I noted a Chinese governmental approval to enable a cornerstone investment had not been granted and that the investor was now to seek to make another application for the approval. However, I questioned why will the outcome be any different this time? And, even if it is, how long will it take? There is now an “Update on Fundraising and Funding Options” announcement from the company. Uh oh – that was the funding option, so what now for this Neil Woodford dog?...

Big Sofa – major US deal, Ipsos named, new forecasts – buy at up to 25p – 50p target is CONSERVATIVE! ( 120p plausible)
Big Sofa (BST), the provider of video analytics technology and services has announced that it t has been approved as a ‘Global Systems Partner’ to provide video research and technology services to one of the world’s largest consumer goods corporations, headquartered in the USA. Annoyingly we are not told who this is but it will leak. You may remember the big win with a market research firm?

Advanced Oncotherapy - new loan, now desperately borrowing against VAT receivable, 0p within weeks
I have never seen a loan like this. It is sheer desperation from a company that faces imminent insolvency. Make no mistake, Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) is on the way out and corporate death will occur very soon indeed.

Might you Have Thousands of Pounds Due from Forgotten Shares? Read on.
Hello Share Splitters. You may be sitting on a pile of share money you know nothing about. But we all know it has been known for no-hopers to suddenly revive...

House broker Shore Cap has upped its share price target for Solo Oil (SOLO) from 0.8p to 0.9p in a detailed note (below) entitled “Adding helium to the mix”.
