Another indicator of Government failure - record numbers of bars & restaurants going bust

As chancellor, Rishi Sunak was applauded by almost everyone except me for the vast amounts of taxpayers money he chucked at the hospitality sector during the scamdemic. His reckless spending - either supported by the Labour Party, the SNP, the Lib Dems, the media class, or attacked for not being enough, created the inflation nightmare. But did it work? Look at the shocking chart below.

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: GOTCHA Yourgene

The shares have collapsed 80% today and from 4.25p on November 3. I explain why that matters and why heads must roll as this stock is now just not investable.

Lemming interviews Skinbiotherapeutics boss Stuart Ashman

I do not always agree with Mr Lemming Investor but for what it is worth we are both still bulls of Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX). He posted this Q&A with Stuart Ashman the other day and it is worth a read. Over to the Lemming:

Insig AI – grateful for gifted back shares, but just how tight is cash currently here?

Data science and machine learning for the asset management industry company Insig AI (INSG) has announced, following the recent publication of its half-year results to 30th September 2022, that its founders have gifted back shares which are expected to “predominately be issued to third parties or partners who are expected to help generate revenues, or add long term value to the business, but also to employees and other stakeholders as payments or bonuses in lieu of cash”. So what to make of this and a current 16p share price?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I am sure I win my bet with Cliff Weight

I start on my health which seems to be improving. I then cover Nightcap (NGHT) - with another shocking expose - Cineworld (CINE), Eurasia Mining (EUA), the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and Zephyr Energy (ZPHR) where I reckon I have won my bet with the ShareSoc BSD. I offer him another bet of a similar nature.

Xeros Technology – “an exciting milestone”…or not?

Arguing that its “technologies revolutionise the way we make and clean our clothes”, Xeros Technology Group (XSG) has issued an update including that IFB Industries has “confirmed that it will begin placing its new premium 11kg domestic washing machines, designed for large households and incorporating Xeros' Care technology, in its Indian retail stores by the end of this calendar year”. An “exciting milestone”?
GMAA

Gama Aviation – argues “confident”, but how much so can it really be in the current funding environment?

Previously writing on Gama Aviation (GMAA), in August with the shares at 56.5p I questioned it “progressing towards securing the new credit facilities required”. The shares last closed at 61.5p but are currently heading down towards the previously noted level on the back of an “H2 Trading Update, Liquidity & Credit Facilities” announcement.

Wake me up if Bunzl shares fall back below a 26 quid price (again)

Are you nearly ready for Christmas? I hope that you are, as it has been a busy, and often volatile, year for all investors, and it is always good to have a bit more of family time focus. Naturally though, weirdos like me will be spending a bit of each of the final ten days of 2022 looking at market matters. And that inspires me this morning to write about the specialist international distribution and services company Bunzl (BNZL).

BREAKING: Happy Christmas Julie Meyer - Who's Going to Drive you home tonight?

Oh dear. Oh Dear. You remember Tesla meets Fitbit? Drive Software, the flagship in the empire of Julie "Lingerie on Expenses" Meyer? I have chronicled what a joke company it is many times year but my analysis was dismissed as "misogynist". Anyone who criticises the woman still fleeing a High Court arrest warrant is a misogynist. Well just in time for Christmas it seems as if the unpaid bills have just piled too high as the documents below demonstrate.

Trackwise Designs – another equity raise bailout-related shares settlement farce, shares now suspended!

Previously writing on printed circuit technology products company Trackwise Designs (TWD), last week I noted a 1p per share equity raise bailout despite the shares having previously closed at 12.65p – and that the best broker finnCap could apparently do. It included a proposed £1.5 million open offer though I concluded, as the shares slumped to below 1.5p, that with still “it is likely that the group will need to raise additional funding by the end of the third quarter of 2023”, it’s good luck with the open offer! And hopefully my prior warnings were heeded… avoid/sell. At 1:09pm today a Stock Exchange Notice, “Trackwise Designs plc - Suspension”, so what’s going on now?

Swapping emails with ‘arry Adams as Kefi lunatics plague me and him

I get up off my sick bed to find numerous emails from my fellow shareholders in Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI). I am told that the shares are “collapsing”. Hmmmm so a 1% fall is a collapse: whatever you say.

This would bring the 2022 total dividend payable to 37.7p (2021: 35.9p)”. We see income and growth value from a 747p offer price.
