FDM Group – “trading statement”, why does it not provide any financial guidance of ‘lower than anticipated’ assigned consultants impact I wonder?!…
A “trading statement” announcement from IT consultants provider FDM Group (FDM) includes “levels of client engagement continue to give us encouragement and there are some signs that confidence is slowly beginning to return” and “the systemic shortages of technology skills in all the geographies in which FDM operates remain and provide a supportive backdrop”. So, on the back of the trading statement, what of a current share price of 390p… down 16.5%?!- By Steve Moore |

Cellular goods another total spoof release – it will be bankrupt well before St Valentine's day unless there is a placing
The maths here is so simple that my cat could do the sums. As at 28 February Cellular Goods (CBX) had net cash of £2.93 million. Its revenues remain almost zero and its cost base had been slashed to c£3 million. However, the company then did a quasi related party share purchase of King Tide which wants to cultivate seaweed to capture carbon and save the planet. We were promised that this company would have its first revenues by Christmas but there is no sign of that so instead it is adding to the cashburn. Come on you can do the maths….- By Tom Winnifrith |

AMTE Power – prime ‘no one watching o’clock’ “Financing Update” announcement. Anything to do with that ‘All The Money’s (very nearly) Gone’?!
Previously writing on AMTE Power (AMTE), in September I questioned how ‘pleasing’ was its fundraising news – concluding including that, instead of “a leading UK developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery cells for specialist markets”, it was still a prodigiously cash-burning and finance-concerning bargepole/sell. What though of the shares currently down a further more than 25% just today on no news from the company today?

Iconic Labs – toxic Dave Sefton starts offloading his convertible loan note debt
In today’s RNS, Iconic (ICON) announced that it was notified that Linton Capital LLP which is owned by Toxic Dave Sefton who caused so much historic damage to Iconic shareholders converted £5,000 of his £750,000 convertible loans notes into 108,849 ordinary shares an effective conversion price of 4.6 pence per share versus the current ask price of 6.0 pence. The conversion didn’t raise any cash for Iconic it just reduced its convertible loan note liability.- By Tom Winnifrith |

I might apparently live in its Golden Triangle, but I am also happy to keep on avoiding British Land shares
I was not surprised to read that the latest Rightmove (RMV) house price survey was very mixed. I think you can all guess what the tabloid thoughts for 2024 performance are going to be on akin matters. Meanwhile, I see that British Land (BLND) observed in its first half numbers today that it “now expect ERV (estimated rental value) growth at the top end of our previous guidance for FY24”. Has it really bucked the poor housing market trend?- By Chris Bailey |

I'm Still Banking on the Black Horse – it may not stay in the stalls much longer
Hello Share Noshers. This primigenial punter wants to steer you back to Lloyds Banking Group (LLOY) shares. I do so in the uneasy knowledge that I’ve suggested this bank is undervalued for most of this year and that its rise I have much-vaunted hasn't happened yet.- By Malcolm Stacey |

Harland & Wolff: there is NO positive scenario for shareholders
Tom commented briefly and bearishly on Harland & Wolff Group (HARL) on Friday, I thought it was about time that I should put some detailed thoughts in writing to explain why Harland was one of my top UK small cap shorts that I highlighted at ShareStock. Personally I think that the numbers are compellingly obvious but let me start with some background to make sure that I don’t assume too much prior knowledge.- By Evil Banksta |

Visual Aid: All the World’s Carbon Emissions by Country
The greenhouse effect, essential for sustaining Earth’s life-friendly temperatures, has been intensified by burning fossil fuels. This amplification of the natural greenhouse effect has led to significant alterations to the planet’s climate system. The graphic above uses data from the Global Carbon Atlas to explore which countries contribute the most to CO₂ emissions. TW Note this is not fact but opinion and in my view complete bollocks..

Bowleven – Squeaky Bum Time
AIM-listed gas an oil play Bowleven (BLVN) announced its full year results to June 30 on Friday and it was not a pleasant read for shareholders, from this former tip of mine. Although I still hold my shares, it is simply because it wasn’t worth selling in the wake of a humbly apologetic sell in September so I will constantly be reminded of my folly going forward.- By Nigel Somerville |
