Don't worry Daniel Stewart - someone still loves you...
Following my revelations yesterday the deadwood press have their knives out for Daniel Stewart (DAN) today. Maybe the CEO's younger broker did not threaten tol beat them up and they did not get fascist lawyers letters for exposing this POS, but the firm is almost friendless as it prepares for administration. I say almost...

Comptoir Group – “pleased… in line with market expectation”… but how pleasing really?
Lebanese and Eastern Mediterranean restaurants group Comptoir (COM) is “pleased to report that trading for the 52 weeks to 31st December 2018 was in line with market expectation with the expected strong finish to the second half of the year” and that “the directors continue to be excited by the prospects of the group”. The shares have responded 5% higher to 10.5p – though that compares to a 50p price of just a June 2016 AIM IPO. So what’s the story here?...

Yu – reading through the numbers
As Tom Winnifrith said in his Bearcast on Wednesday, Yu Group (YU.) offered numbers in its latest trading statement which are completely meaningless – and thus its net cash position could be anything. I’ve been trying to piece some of it together.

How to Take Advantage of the Brexit Blues.
Hello, Share Bunnies. As the Brexit mess becomes even messier, we need to continue careful consideration of what will happen to our shares. These are the choices. If we *crash out of Europe, the pound will take a hard knock. If we have a soft Brexit, it will shoot up. * TW Note, incorrect word used by those who want to stay in Europe but do not dare admit it like Malcolm.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: a hat-trick of Condor spoofs for Jim Mellon while Cabot fails to fess up as death postponed
In this podcast I discuss Condor Gold (CNR) where my good pal, the offshore based asset stripper Jim Mellon, now officially has his hat-trick of spoofs, CML Microsystems (CML) - its valuation post warning and what it says about the biggest single threat to your shares - the wankers at the Evening Standard, my breaking news on Daniel Stewart (DAN) and why I again shout #Learntocode at the deadwood press. Finally Cabot (CAB) has postponed death by a month but its statement misleads and I explain why.

CML Microsystems – having stated only in November “full year advance in profitability remains likely”, now…
A 20th November-announced half-year report from semiconductors company CML Microsystems (CML) included “it currently looks challenging for second half revenues to show material improvement over the first six months although at the profit before tax level, the impact is expected to be less pronounced due to the anticipated product mix. Therefore, a full year advance in profitability remains likely, in-line with market expectations”. Today a “Trading Update” – and the shares currently more than 20% lower on the back of it, towards 340p…

Filthy Forty Walcom – anything to tell us?
As Tom Winnifrith drowns himself in Ouzo for breakfast this morning, after AIM-listed Telit (TCM) put off its disposal and fellow AIM-listed Altona (ANR) and Alien Metals (UFO – formerly Arian Silver) were suspended on AIM, I wonder if I’m missing out. Back on 21 November 2018, AIM-listed Walcom (WALG) of the ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty told us it had a debt repayment due in January…..

Updated 2: Has Daniel Stewart gone tits up? Almost......
When the boss’s younger brother threatens to “beat up Tom Winnifrith because of the articles he wrote,” when you get into bed with disgraced king fraudster Rob Terry and then send Tom Winnifrith fascist lawyers letters you know that Mr Karma is going to get you sooner or later. You are either on the side of the fraudsters or you support the fraudbusters and that brings us to Daniel Stewart (DAN).

Haydale – Wheelsure suspended pending accounts: where does that leave the collaboration?
Back on 27 November 2018, AIM-listed Haydale (HAYD) announced (via RNS Reach, mind you) a collaboration with NEX-listed Wheelsure (WHLP) was being joined by Manchester University’s Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) in a project to develop an intelligent new product pairing Haydale's functionalised graphene sensor technology with Wheelsure's failsafe locking solution. Of course, Haydale needed cash then (as it does now). But then so did Wheelsure (see HERE). As such it all looked like a ramp.

Telit – auto sale delayed how does FinnCap sign off on such nonsense with a straight face?
As I warned would happen yesterday, the sale of Telit’s (TCM) auto division to Hong Kong based TUS has again been delayed. We are now told that it won’t meet the 31 January (new) deadline but will happen on or before 20 February after the Chinese New Year. Whatever… the statement itself throws up an enormous red flag, how on earth Nomad FinnCrap (FCAP) signed off on this crap defies belief…it is almost as if it is only in it for the retainers and does not care about doing its job properly.

Revenue Up, Profits Up as Diageo Drinks to Yet More Success
Hello, Share Shifters. Most of the time I push penny shares forward for your further examination, but I do have my favourites among Footsie giants. Sensibly, you ought to hold at least half of your pot in the jumbos, even though even these babies can go sour. Today, I bring you a share I’ve long supported, if only because when times are shaky, more people it seems turn to the solace of drink...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Lunch with Lord Lucan on offer - 1 kill (for me) so far today, three more to come?
In this podcast I discuss a generous offer from Angus Energy (ANGS) then the kill (London & Capital Finance) now shown as a ponzi, and the possible kills to come: Alien Metals UFO) formerly Arian Silver (AGC) - stick that in your pipe Yellow Jersey motherfuckers - Telit (TCM) and Cabot Energy (CAB). Tick tock. Tick tock. I also look at Reach4Entertainment (R4E) and discuss what happens when bad management meets good assets and then what happens when a good manager arrives. Suffice to say, Reach is very cheap indeed.

FireAngel Safety Technology – “below market expectations” trading update, balance sheet alarm?
On the previous, 22nd November, trading update from home safety products group FireAngel Safety Technology (FA.), I noted now the broker is forecasting a loss of £1.7 million on revenue of £38 million for this year, though argues “it is more encouraging that orders have started to come through and we are making no changes to our 2019E or 2020E forecasts”. Given the noted recent track record, that though still strikes as optimistic currently… continue to avoid as the shares fell towards 35.5p. Having been 39p before today, they’re currently around 30p…

Is Rank really so dank?
I could talk about market heavyweights Diageo (DGE), Royal Dutch Shell (RDSB) or Unilever (ULVR) but frankly none are interesting or compelling...although no doubt dividend munchers are still getting frothy about them. Instead I turn again to the bingo, casino and more emporium Rank (RNK) – which I last wrote about in August, observing 'below 160p as a "have another look" level still feels correct. No debt, cashflow, well-known assets...smell the private equity or industry consolidation potential'…
