The Remaining Options for Cineworld (they are all grim!)

We all agree that Cineworld (CINE) is bust, however, the shares are trading and currently have a value (3.80p at pixel, equating to a £52 million market cap).  Obviously, if Cineworld goes into administration then it's game over and the shares will be worthless.  But it's possible that there is a small amount of value left *IF* Cineworld successfully implements a debt for equity swap.  This value is referred to as “frustration value” but Cineworld’s shareholders may not even have that anymore!

Eurasia - four months of bidder silence, this defies belief

Tomorrow will be four months since Eurasia Mining (EUA) announced that its supposed “Buyer” had completed due diligence for its supposed asset sale.  It’s two years and four months since Eurasia first announced that its assets were up for sale and yet still, shareholders have no idea what assets are for sale, what the sale price is, who the supposed Buyer is or when a sale might complete.  Given that Eurasia is mining in Russia it should come as no surprise that its share price has collapsed since my last update – down another 36% since then, a total decline of 64% from the 40.5p share price peak in November 2020.

Eurasia Mining: It’s Time to Fess Up and Tell the Truth SP Angel!

Today marks three months since Eurasia Mining (EUA) last updated the market on the status of its supposed sale process.  The “sale” is on a par with a DFS furniture sale, having now lasted two years and three months since it was first announced, yet with no sign of an end in sight!  Frankly I think that it’s obvious that the sale (if there ever was one) has fallen through.  On today’s anniversary I’m calling out to SP Angel to bring this farce to a close.  Pull your finger out SP Angel, do your job and force some proper disclosure from your client!

Does Cineworld need to deliver a profits warning?

In its November 15 trading update Cineworld (CINE) included a table, which compared revenue from months in 2021 with revenue from months in 2019.  This was an attempt to illustrate that cinema viewings were returning to pre-covid levels, the CEO specifically commented that “We are thrilled to see audiences returning in significant numbers”. As Tom pointed out then, Cineworld made these comparisons notwithstanding that October 2021 had five weekends whilst October 2019 only had four weekends.  Given that cinema viewings tend to cluster around the weekend, this meant that the October 2021 numbers artificially appeared stronger than reality.

European Metals Holdings - a slam dunk copper bottomed sell, bailout fund raise needed ASAP, valuation demonstrably insane

AIM listed European Metals Holdings (EMH) is an investment company that holds a minority (49%) equity investment in the "Cinovec project" a lithium resource in the Czech Republic.  EMH used to own 100% of the project and had control until it sold 51% to CEZ Group, a conglomerate controlled by the government of the Czech Republic, in December 2020.  CEZ has appointed European to manage the Cinovec project on its behalf.

Why Tiziana Life Sciences is such a compelling slam dunk short

Tiziana Life Sciences (TILS) was last week’s AIM ramp, briefly touching 300p on Friday (a £506 million market cap) before closing for the weekend at 268p. It’s more than 10-bagged from its 24p low at the end of February and, as you might have guessed, the reason is because it’s a coronavirus ramp...

The share trades in Supply@ME Capital that remind me of Rob Terry - this stinks so badly

Tom Winnifrith says folks should be in jail over the RTO prospectus and assiociated placing for Supply@ME Capital (SYME) with its bogus balance sheet, untrue claims about trading and worse. But if that was not bad enough we have share trades this week, aka hidden and illicit dumping by the CEO accompanied by blatant share ramping, which should have the FCA suspending the shares at once. I start with a chart of the price and trading volumes.

PowerHouse Energy - Does its so called "technology" even work?!

Tom Winnifrith has written two articles recently about PowerHouse Energy (PHE), firstly noting how Zak Mir is promoting the stock and secondly how there are a bucket (shop) load of 0.5p warrants outstanding; separately Peter Brailey has noted the absurdity of the valuation as being "quadruple bonkers".  But today I want to ask a more basic question: does its so called "technology" even work?
