Thanks to Winnileaks I have a dynamite letter from the FCA to one of Julie Meyer’s 32 unpaid, and thus ex, lawyers confirming what is an ongoing criminal investigation. But first, how did she get her MBE? Answer: she had political friends including the late Paddy Pantsdown and Liam Fox MP. Someone high up nominated her. Then, as her UK flagship Ariadne Capital collapsed into administration, she fled to Malta where she also had political pals. That was until the criminal charges were filed and she ran out of other folks’ cash. Then it was Switzerland and Greece where again leading politicians have fallen for her charms. But do they know about the UK criminal investigation?

A 17th March “COVID-19 update” from cinema group Everyman Media (EMAN) stated “the group has significant headroom in its loan facility and is in dialogue with its lenders on covenants to maintain liquidity through this period of uncertainty”. Now “the company has conditionally placed 17,500,000 ordinary shares at the placing price of 100 pence per ordinary share… together with our existing funding arrangements, this placing significantly strengthens our balance sheet providing further working capital and allows us to pick up where we left off”. Hmmm...

‘UK agency specialising in data science’, Jaywing (JWNG) “is pleased to announce that it has been notified that entities associated with two of its major shareholders have acquired the company's existing secured loan facility of £5.2m owed to Barclays Bank plc… and provide it with additional working capital” – and the shares have soared to a current 6p…

Earlier this week I cautioned on ProPhotonix (PPIX), new laser diode ‘delight’, but it’s an RNS Reach having questioned its financial strength. Now first half of 2019 results – and the shares currently at 2.25p, approaching 30% lower…

In today's podcast I start with a couple of reflections on the joys of modern life involving Andrew Monk of VSA, cannabis and the tossers at Barclays Bank (BARC). I look at Burford (BUR), Falanx (FLX), IQE (IQE), Xaar (XAR), Providence Resources (PVR) and Lansdowne Oil & Gas (LOGP). I forgot to mention Restaurant Group (RTN) but Chris "Three Brains" Bailey, again, covers it very well HERE and he is right. It is a slam dunk sell. Lucian Miers reckons it might just be a zero.

I have been sent the first report on Ariadne Capital Limited prepared by the Administrator Leonard Curtis and sent to creditors yesterday. They will be whistling and will not get a cent back. There is no cash, no sales pipeline and only one debt of £36,000 which the Administrator hopes to collect. A company that claimed net assets of £3,858,688 as at 31 December 2016 is set to report a deficiency of £6,762,604 according to Leonard Curtis. Actually it will be worse.

Hello Share Rattlers. On checking the number of BP shares I hold, I was rather shocked. It’s one of those shares I’ve been gradually building up, whenever I find myself with a bit of share cash and no clear company currently worthy of investment.

While an update last week from digital promotions technology company, Eagle Eye Solutions (EYE) claimed “confidence in the group's prospects”, I questioned whether it was cash crunch ahoy. There is now an “Extension of credit facility” announcement...

Having had the run around from my Barclays team in Douglas, Isle of Man as I described on bearcast yesterday, I was advised to go to a Barclays branch in Bristol with two forms of ID to change its records of whom I worked for. As I had a dental appointment in town I walked to the main Barclays branch in central Bristol, at Broadmead, where the bastards then wasted another forty five minutes of my life with sheer incompetence.

I reflect on how we gym users suffer and on how dealing with Barclays Bank as a customer has made me so angry today. I hate the banksters and make a few unkind comments about the Isle of Man. Then it is onto Feedback (FDBK) and a detailed look at Cyan (CYN) and an awful broker note you can read HERE from Beaufort which I tear apart. I really despair at how bent AIM has become. What is the point of being honest anymore?
