I am still livid about matters concerning my wife's place of work and with it showing no sign of movement I have today discussed the matter with my lawyers. Bah fucking humbug, there is no seasonal goodwill from me in 2017. In this podcast I discuss Inspirit (INSP) at length also Falanx (FLX) - shares in which we own - Low & Bonar (LWB), Minoan (MIN) and Gotech (GOT), formerly Guscio.
Interesting to see a new tech IPO this week with appScatter (APPS) joining AIM yesterday, raising £9 million at 65p. I thought I should take a look and only have the three concerns; the management team, the business model and the valuation! Taking each in turn:
I am here in a warm hotel room in Metsovo in Northern Greece. I am pretty shattered after 22 hours of travel from Bristol to here. Tomorrow is the last leg, a walk to to the vlach village of Anelion. Pro tem a short offering as it will take ages to transmit anything back to England. I look at companies that change their name, ref Guscio (GUSC) and Wishbone Gold (WSBN) which really is a buy despite today's statement.
I take a detailed look at fad investing covering the big California drone fraud but also Fitbit which had a shocking profits warning today, Fitbug (FITB) and Cloudtag (CTAG). I look at two China frauds on AIM in big doo doo, Jiasen (JSI), which is definitely a kill for the Sheriff of AIM, and Taihua (TAIH) which will be. Then I look at Torotrak (TRK), Guscio (GUSC), Greatland Gold (GGP), Andalas (ADL), Golden Saint (GSR), Amur Minerals (AMC) and finally LGO Energy (LGO)
You think that following director share buys is smart? Not always. I start with Coral Products where old Joe Grimond really is spoofing us all with a recycling of a dividend that really should not be paid. Coral also highlights those scallywags at Cairn signing off on another RNS lie just like they do for the fraud Cloudtag (CTAG). Then I look at Quindell (QPP) in that vein and at Avanti Communications (AVN) commenting on its refinancing completed today. Then it is onto the hot gossip of the cash crisis at Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) where I have another story breaking this weekend. Finally I touch on the troubles at Guscio (GUSC)
It is perhaps wrong to kick a man when he is down but I cannot resist. Guscio (GUSC) clearly has "issues" after its recent shocking trading statement but I cannot help note the revelation that its shareholder list includes Mr Fraud.
I got up at 3 AM today and explain why. I lay out what we plan over the next few days on this website. I then discuss the fraud Cloudtag (CTAG), Wandisco (WAND), Guscio (GUSC) United Cacao (CHOC) and Graphene Nanochem (GRPH)
Friday 23rd December, “Final Results & Notice of AGM”. Uh-oh, what has this worryingly-timed announcement from Guscio (GUSC) got in store? ...
A rushed day, back to hospital in five minutes. Ahead I discuss why mug punters and Justin the Clown love blue sky rubbish like Cloudtag (CTAG) but not value plays. I discuss three value plays I know well two of which we own: San Leon (SLE), Obtala (OBT) and Guscio (GUSC). Boring is sexy. Then I look at a non value stock mugs like, North River Resources (NRRP). Then I discuss how one plays the game: fraud hunter vs fraudsters and yes that might involve producing mugs!
On Thursday I spent much of the day with MBN, the firm run by Nigel Wray's daughter with which we are now putting on UK Investor. More details regarding April 1 2017 soon but it is all pretty exciting. On friday I had a catch up chat with Nigel and in this podcast I look at three companies we chatted about: Guscio (GUSC), Reach4Entertainment (R4E) and a new one, Franchise Brands which was born from the ashes of Myhome. Hmmmm.
I spent the morning at an ante natal class with the Mrs. Hell's teeth I am a feminist don't you know? But the whole experience left me feeling just rather old and I discuss why. Then it is onto today's ramptastic news from Horse Hill and I explain what it actually means. I waltz through Gulf Keystone (GKP) - bear squeeze - Stanley Gibbons (SGI) - recovery play? - and Guscio (GUSC) - Nigel Wray play. Then it is onto Tern (TERN), Gable (GAH), IGAS (IGAS) and Golden Saint (GSR) where I discuss why today's RNS really is just bollocks and how bulk sampling really works.
Jeepers what a fantasist. He is probably related to yesterday's Scouse fantasist. Get in the real world chaps. Moving on, in today's podcast I cover: IGAS (Igas), Highland Natural Resources (HNR), Guscio (GUSC), Armadale Capital (ACP), Chamberlin (CMH), Cyan (CYAN), Management Resources (MRS), Imaginatik (IMTK) and Mr Robert Simon Terry, the serial fraudster.
Actually I shall keep you in suspense on that one - so you can still vote in the TW libel poll HERE - but I do discuss what a lamentable effort this fascist missive is when compared to previous bully boy lawyers letters. Then it is onto Guscio (GUSC), Plastics Capital (PLA) and the farce that are LTIPs and then onto the failings of capitalism in the US and UK and why we are sleepwalking on soma with no real wealth being created.
Shares in Hotel Corporation (HCP) have moved back to 1.3-1.5p because there are signs of life. This is an ideal cash shell for someone with a track record of doing deals. But right now it is doing nothing. The two directors are Derek Short – a septuagenarian crony capitalist drawing £25,000 a year for sipping G&Ts in Jersey ( no tax there) and David Craine an Isle of Man Crony Capitalist drawing another £25,000 for doing sweet FA from another tax haven.
Featuring 88 Energy (88E), Empyrean Energy (EME), Guscio (GUSC), Petrel Resources (PET), Proton Power Systems (PPS)
Two days ago AIM listed Guscio (GUSC) announced that it had raised £610,000 (before expenses for the crony capitalist broker and nomad) at 8p. The placing was only intended to raise £500,000 but done at just below the offer it was oversubscribed.
This is a speculative share tip. It is one to nibble at and only at 10p or less. But it could just fly. Guscio (GUSC) is a company we bet you have never heard of. However…
