Often when a smaller AIM company operating in the natural resources sector announces a placing it ends up being bad news for those currently invested, but there are also cases where the money is being sought in order to accelerate operations. Of course, the company still ultimately needs to deliver and for the work that the money is being raised for to be successful, but I would certainly rather see this than a company that is sitting around doing nothing and burning through cash whilst its directors pocket a nice salary.
I hope this does not sound conceited but I think this is possibly my best bearcast for some time. I really enjoyed this from start to finish. Maybe I shall not go into retirement just yet, after all. Or maybe I still will. Anyhow, on the agenda: Redcentric (RCN), MX Capital (MXCP), the FCA, Mkango Resources (MKA), Independent Resources (IRG), arrogant dickhead fund managers and the UK Investor Show.
ShareProphets readership increases every week - we can tell because we're a registration site and if you unsubscribe, you are kicked off the site. We don't have a dead subscription list like other, lesser, sites.
I find myself back in London ahead of a big event tonight as I explain HERE. So I am working at the pizza place now known as Wedge Issue and run by hipster Pizza Hardman Darren Atwater. It is most excellent and I commend it to you all if you are in Clerkenwell, although I am not sure I get this hipster business at all. I'm getting old. In the main podcast I look at why the LSE Asylum just does not work. In terms of stocks I cover Independent Resources (IRG), Nyota (NYO), FastForward (FFWD),Challenger (CHAL), the joke regulation one sees on the Standard List, Regency Mines (RGM) and some coal assets some folks think will go into the joke that is "New Worthington".
No doubt the spivs are on the ramp again but shares in Independent Resources (IRG) have dived by 30% to 0.415. That is because the stock has today on ex-rights on the open offer announced today. If you buy now you do not get to take part in a 2 for 3 offer at 0.065p! So do the maths again.
If you object to bad language do not listen. The madness and corruption of AIM, the willingness of the crony capitalists to deceive investors to get away another placing just got to me. In today's podcast I cover Blur (BLUR) - but would commend young Steve's coverage which is superb HERE, FastForward (FFWD) - the Jim Mellon spoof - Advanced Oncotherapy (DOG), Independent Resources (IRG), Amur Minerals (AMC), Sunrise Resources (SRES) and Zenith Energy (ZEN).
Shares in Independent Resources (IRG) are up 569% today. I know James Parsons of Sound Energy (SOU) has joined but this is insanity, a rampfest by many of the usual suspects. Just do the maths! If you cannot I can do it for you in his bonus podcast.
I comment on my smoking - after 12 days I am still clean and on the weekend's sport. Then onto ISDX and the silly claims by whichever pompous git runs it that it is the new AIM. I explain why it is not, what ISDX shares we own or wish we own (Mechan, Chapel Down & Coinsilium) and why we wont buy any more at all. I discuss the Alba pump and dump as the Horse Hill Gatwick flusher ( of mug punter cash down the pan) saga continuies. Finally my low point of the week: Independent Resources ( IRG) - it makes me feel sick...
We warned you two days ago that Independent Resources (IRG) was trying to spoof investors with a bogus announcement in order to get a discounted placing away...it has not taken long, the placing today is a shocker. the FCA and AIM Regulation must investigate.
Independent Resoures (IRG) is almost bust and will do a placing to keep the lights on very soon. But its shares are up by 185% today at 0.3p thanks to an RNS which is a spoof aimed at fooling mug punters. It has worked, never underestimate the stupidity of AIM investors.
Having asked for readers tips for 2016 for the amazing prize of lunch or dinner with Tom Winnifrith (or the chance to fob it off on someone you don't like) HERE, the following is the first of the monthly updates on performance (to be eligible needed to have selected a buy & sell pick and those to be listed on the LSE or on the AIM Casino)...
Unlike yesterday's podcast this was recorded before lunchtime and, anyway, I am staying sober until after my presentation tonight when I might be less sober. Still there is a good deal of bad language in the Bearcast as I do a concluding section on Bulletin Board Morons in denial with reference on this occasion to Servision (SEV). I also cover more market abuse at Frontier Resources (FRI) as well as Independent Resources (IRG), Plexus (POS), LGO Energy (LGO) and Fusionex (FXI) - reference director's dealings.
Okay I am celebrating the impending departure of Afriag (AFRI) from AIM so might get a bit carried away in this podcast, there is a bit of bad langauge. Other than dancing on the PLC grave of Jabba The Hutt as he tries to spin this disaster I look at: Green Dragon Gas (GDG) - PLACING AHOY - Servision (SEV), Jiasen (JSI), TrakM8 (TRAK), Fusionex (FXI), Independent Resources (IRG) and Plexus (POS).
Warning: This podcast contains bad language and some not terribly PC remarks about the Germans. A bit of an argument this morning with Paul Scott, Britain's top share blogger, on the subject of TrakM8 (TRAK). For once he sounded like a bit of a stale bull and I go through the bull excuses when faced with analysis like THIS. I am right on this one. I also cover Environmental Recycling (ENRT) and Motive TV (MTV) both of which are flea ridden dogs with puss ouzing from every pore and should be put down at once. Then it is on to Nostra Terra (NTOG) and Independent Resources (IRG) as well as Northern Petroleum (NOP) and Armadale Capital (ACP). I did not cover Corero (CNS) but I see its shares are slipping so should ask "when is the placing" and I gave Jabba The Hutt a break today but if you need a fix there is an LGO expose HERE

Meanwhile I explain why the Tories ARE the party of social justice and look at New World Oil & Gas on what is officially Fake Sheikh day, Insetco, Daniel Stewart, China Chaintek, Independent Resources, Falanx and Just Eat.
Independent Resources (IRG) is an AIM listed oil junor. Its CEO Greg Coleman presented at the recent ShareProphets seminar on December 8th. To make sure you get priority alerts to book into future seminars register HERE. To watch Greg in action and see his presentation see the video below.
Today I again talk about why AIM punters are their own worst enemy and I use Casino listed company Independent Resources (IRG) as a prime example.
Independent Resources (IRG) won last week’s AIM Cesspit pump and dump (on mug punters) prize as it got its rescue £2.76 million placing away at 3p (the shares being 6.5p) after the pump but before the dump. But a City source makes it clear that the operation is not over yet.
This is just par for the course on the AIM Cesspit – today’s less in how crony capitalism sees private investors shafted on a daily basis comes from the toerags at Independent Resources (IRG). This is just shocking.
The last reported results from Independent Resources (IRG) were dire and the company admitted that it needed funding within twelve months to be viewed as a going concern. I should cocoa – the maths are dire.
