Aquatic Foods – Director resignation: rats leaving the sinking ship as AIM Execution approaches

AIM-listed Filthy Forty play Aquatic Foods Group (AFG) has at last posted an RNS. Given that its FY16 accounts are overdue by almost 6 months, and its interims by heading for three, you would have thought we might have an update on that. But no: instead the resignation of Mircle Ching Chai Yap was announced. This chap has a spot of form….

China fraud Aquatic Foods Group – joke RNS delaying (again) FY16 accounts and more Red Flags

ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty play Aquatic Foods Group (AFG) has released news of its delayed FY16 numbers in an (almost) no-one is watching o’clock RNS yesterday, released at 4.26 pm – 12.26am local time in China. Goodness me, they must have been putting the wording together for hours! Needless to say, there are still no accounts. In my view the whole thing is a joke and Nomad SP Angel is being made to look foolish: take a look at the directors’ page of the company website!

MySQUAR Limited – was brought to AIM and is audited by PKF Littlejohn – what could possibly go wrong?

In a brochure boasting of its (dis) services to the capital markets, auditor PKF Littlejohn proudly lists some of the clients it has helped bring to London’s capital markets (some of which it also audits). The roll call of shame includes:

African Potash –PKF Littlejohn LLP hang your head in shame

On 12 April 2017, the fraud that is African Potash (AFPO) announced a change of auditors from RSM UK Audit LLP to PKF Littlejohn LLP. One can understand why RSM UK Audit LLP might be keen to cease its relationship with a company with the frankly appalling track record of African Potash but how desperate does PKF Littlejohn LLP look in taking on African Potash as an audit client?

Red Flags Still Fluttering at Mayair Group

Back in August I suggested that Mayair Group (MAYA), which purports to provide clean air solutions in China might not be so different from other AIM listed China plays.

2016 in review: our top 30 articles and Tom's ten most read non financial pieces

As the year draws to a close it is only natural that we look back on the past twelve months. And it has been twelve months of achievement. It is a great achievement in that our writers have continued to write exactly what they want without any editorial interference. So Cynical Bear & Gary Newman have knocked shares I own. So what? We really do support free speech.  And it has been a year when we have "dealt with" more frauds and lies on the AIM casino and the main market than ever before. That really is the USP of ShareProphets.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: AIM Death List Update 4 - Four New Entrants, now 10 kills from 27

On 13 June I started my 21 stock Death list portfolio - 21 shares heading for zero or being booted off the market - see HERE. Until now 27 stocks have entered the portfollio and I am claiming ten kills - not bad eh? Today I go over the four kills since the last update and add four new entrants to the portfolio. Do the Cloudtag morons really want to bet against me with my current kill rate? I review all 21 now current members. The stocks mentioned are: Worthington, JQW, Jiasen, Camkids, China Chaintek, Jersey Oil & Gas, Mosman Oil & Gas, Monitise, Outsourcery, Magnolia Petroleum, Arian Silver, Sareum, Avanti Communications, Daniel Stewart, Mariana Resources, Sefton Resources, Golden Saint Resources, Sovereign Mines of Africa, Afren, Wandisco, Tungsten, Blur, Auhua, Afriag, InternetQ, Servision, Igas, Cloudtag, African Potash & Slater & Gordon.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast Death List Update - who is to replace Daniel Stewart?

The 21 stock Death List Portfolio is now seven months old and now has its sixth kill, Daniel Stewart (DAN). We replace each kill with a new candidate for death so until today 26 entrants had seen five recorded demises. But Daniel Cesspit is the sixth (from 26) and so we need a new target for death, that is to say for seeing its shares booted off the AIM casino or going to 0p.

F40 Taihua – Oh Dear: time for the Walkers?

Tom Winnifrith has already raised a few awkward questions about ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty play Taihua (TAIH) HERE when he discussed how a profitable company (from China) with net cash of £2.5 million (as at June 2015, so we are told in the Interims) is only valued by the market at about £1 million. Yesterday saw a statement which brought to mind the now executed F40 company JQW. It all rather suggests that there is no earnings visibility and as such I would suggest that the stock could well be worthless.

Geong, Geong Gone! Yes the AIM Execution took place this morning

Over at Paternoster Square, above the headquarters of the London Stock Exchange the black flag was again raised this morning as Geong (GNG) took its final walk to the AIM casino execution chamber and was despatched. I’ve been wanting to say this for three years: “Geong, Geong…Gone!” This is the 15th AIM casino ShareProphets China Filthy Forty stock to meet its maker since the Index was started on June 1 2014. Camkids - Filthy Forty execution 14 with 3 more on death row. Who's next?

AIM has this morning announced the quiet execution of the fourteenth member of the ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty, Camkids (CAMK). Still on Death Row we have Geong (GNG) which tomorrow will have been without a Nomad for a month so we expect another execution at 7am on Monday. Also scheduled for lethal injection shortly is China Rereun (CHRR) which lost its Nomad 24 days ago, and Vmoto (VMT) is going for a "best interests" delisting. This reads terribly badly for the LSE - and not a single one of the Nomad resignations has been explained.

AIM-China Filthy Forty: fourth Nomad resignation in four weeks. Which will be next?

The spread betters could be having a field day. Four more of the ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty now on Death Row following Nomad resignations in just four weeks. Three in the past week: if this continues the whole lot will have gone by Christmas. But back to the question – which will be next? For some clues, we just have to look at what happened yesterday. Anyone still holding Jiasen (JSI) or JQW  (JQW) is, in my view, certifiable.

Results round-up a festival of AIM-China Red Flags at the end a festy fortnight on the Filthy Forty.

Phew, what a scorcher! The heat really was turned up on the ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty over the past two weeks. Last week we had one AIM-execution,  a suspension (and subsequent restoration) as Vmoto (VMT) announced a transaction which we find less than credible (HERE) and results from Jiasen (JSI) which prompted Tom Winnifrith to present us with a choice that he was a banana or Jiasen is a fraud. And JQW (JQW) had its operations suspended by the Chinese authorities for contraventions of advertising and pyramid-selling regulations before releasing less than convincing interims. This week saw fourteen of the Filthy Forty racing to the line to get results filed by close of play Wednesday so as to avoid automatic suspension, two of which added to the overcrowding problem on AIM’s Death Row as their Nomad quit. Here is the ShareProphets  round-up of AIM-China Red Flags served up this past week.

Oh dear. Haike Chemical – another AIM-China Filthy Forty member releases Interims

The ShareProphets AIM-China Filthy Forty is having an amazing week. We’ve had all manner of nonsense, from AIM failing to boot off Global Market Group (GMC) after being without a Nomad for a month until three days late, Geong (GNG) shares collapsing after a (derisory) take-over fell apart, a fantasy world presented by Vmoto (VMT) as it sold off a division on a PE of about 1 to the same people it bought it from and joke interims from JQW (cash pile mounting but dividend binned) and this morning Jiasen (cash pile mounting, dividend chopped by two thirds). Jersey Finance is terribly keen to get Chinese companies to register in Jersey and list their shares on the London Stock Exchange, notable on the AIM casino. What a marvellous set-up they offer: it is the jurisdiction of choice for corporate entities seeking to list, one fifth of Chinese companies listed in London are registered in Jersey, there is political and economic stability, a sound regulatory reputation and, of course, Jersey Finance has a representative office in Hong Kong (since 2009) just to ease things along. Okay, the sabbatical really does start this week so maybe not that many bearcasts from now. But for today I explain why the market will be harder for non profit stocks and on that basis I start with a reference to my 21 stock death list of last month (Afren looks to be the first to fall) HERE but also refer to the excellent must read piece by Lucian Miers yesterday HERE. And then I launch into my 10 top shorts for summer. Companies mentioned are:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 2 July - Jiasen pull the other one you frigging Norfolk

What a great day. Lord Michael Howard tightens the noose for Rob Terry and the Quindell (QPP) fraudsters HERE and then China fraud Jiasen says there is no reason for its share price fall. Er...I think we can all think of one can we not? Then on to JQW, China Chaintek and Camkids - watch out fella's the Sheriff of AIM is gonna get you. Ditto Phorm which is next up followed by Iofina. there is comment on Premaitha. Then onto how I dont take bribes from companies to write nice things either directly or via UK Investor Show as a Northern slum dweller seems to think. Finally there is an expose of the POS that is CIC Gold and on the scumbags behind it.

JQW – CFO walks: have the rats started to desert the s(t)inking ship?

AIM-listed JQW plc (JQW) – one of the Fujian four, from Fujian province in China announced its AGM result today, as well as the departure of Chief Financial Officer, Mr Kooi Wei Boon. Under normal circumstances, the FD departing out of the blue would not be taken well – and, indeed, JQW saw its shares slide 14% on the news – but given the general level of suspicion surrounding AIM-listed China frauds this is most unsettling news for anyone mad enough to be holding this stock.

News from the Norfolk Province of AIM - Sorbic International plc

Hot on the heels of Tom Winnifrith’s prediction that GATE would be the next China fraud to follow Naibu through the AIM exit door followed by Jiasen (JSI), we had news from JQW (JQW) (more to follow on that one later) and the already suspended Sorbic (SORB). The latter will provide stiff competition to Gate Ventures (GATE), as it announced in its interims that since the resignation of Finncap as Nomad on 16 June, no Nomad had been willing to replace Finncap and accordingly Sorbic is likely to depart AIM on 17 July.

China fraud JQW - Chinese investors dumping shares illegally - why is Nomad Cairn NOT quitting

Does Nomad Cairn have a shred of inegrity? If it does why has it not quit the JQW(JQW) account as yet again it has emerged today how Chinese investors have totally ignored AIM rules as they screw mug punters in the UK.
By way of background JQW is capitalised, at 10.25p, at £19.6 million. According to the Norfolk it generated a calendar 2014 profit after tax of £14 million and increased its cash position during 2014 by £5 million to £39 million. So why on earth would anyone be selling?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 28 May - with a song

In today's bearcast I sing happy birthday to you for Marimedia. Ok it is not such a happy 1st birthday on the AIM Casino. What a shocker. Then onto Sareum, Sefton Resources (see HERE), Gable, JQW, Jiasen and Northbridge. Now into the fields to poison some frigana.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast Special - Its China fraud day

Naibu, Jiasen and over in Germany Joyou, it is all happening on the China fraud front. The London Stock Exchange's attitude and inaction is a disgrace. If you still own shares in JQW, Camkids, Jiasen, Chaintek or Asian Citrus you are bonkers. A short bearcast covering the day's events and a meeting with a feral cat.

Tom Winnifrith BearCast -May 7th

Hi apologies for the podcast delay, after a long trek down to the Mani I fell asleep. In this bury bad news on General Election day podcast I look at news from Red Rock Resources, African Copper and a laughable statement from SCS Upholstery. I also cover the China frauds, specifically Camkids and Naibu but also Sorbic, JQW, China Chaintek and Jiasen and have a message for Alan Green about a motorbike upgrade. And I cover New World Oil & Gas

Sorbic finally admits CEO has stolen all its cash but it could well be worse at this China AIM fraud

The London Stock Exchange denies that there is a problem with China AIM frauds. What planet is patrician twit Chris Gibson Smith on? Well it is only dirty little people (aka private investors) who are being cleaned out so who gives a FF anyway, Chris old boy? This brings us to Sorbic (SORB) which today admitted that its CEO has stolen all its money, In fact I reckon it’s worse than that.

More China fraud thoughts post the LSE AGM & Good news on Afren

Attending the London Stock Exchange (LSE) AGM on Wednesday was a profoundly depressing experience. It was like what one imagines a Communist Party Plenum in some third world country might be like, packed with muscular security and unsmiling jobsworths. Extremely un-British in all respects. A photocopy of a letter from my broker confirming my holding in the company was not deemed acceptable and I had to take a cab ride up the road to get the original.

Another day & Sorbic, another AIM China fraud, suspended as the claimed cash mountain disappears

Even the thickest mothers on this planet (that is to say the AIM regulation team) must be spotting a pattern by now as another AIM listed China fraud (Sorbic) bites the dust.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - 30 April

The Mrs is finally back from India tonight but her delay is clearly a breach of my human rights. Will any political party remedy this? The podcast refers back to yesterday's bonus China fraud Bearcast on Gate & Naibu (see HERE) before moving into the farce of today's two China Norfolks in the news, JQW and Sorbic. Then there are the lessons we learn from Arria, the Kenmare tale, Optare, Mosman and Ubisense which seems like a POS.

London Stock Exchange -- the AIM Casino is a tremendous success caption contest

No prizes just a chance for folks to show their wit and to show their appreciation for the LSE in its heroic efforts to make the AIM Casino the success that it is. Perhaps shareholders in Arria NLG, Optare, JQW and other star performers today might be especially incentivised to enter. Post your captions in the comments section beow

Reader poll - which will be the next China AIM stock to be suspended as fraud emerges

I mentioned this in BearCast and it is just a bit of fun. Shares in Naibu remain suspended as the CEO of that fraud Mr Houyan Lin languishes in a China gaol cell. So which will the be the next China AIM stock to be suspended for whatever reason - natch fraud is the most likely reason, Vote now, results tomorrow

Tom Winnifrith BearCast - 2nd March

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 13 February - Mark Slater & other matters

Sorry for the delay. Note to scumbag FT writers - if you wish to lift anything in this Bearcast please give an attribution rather than claim it as your own scoop. Dan McCrum you know what I am talking about. I know you work for the FT but that does not mean you HAVE to act like a total wanker. In today's podcast I discuss a chat with Mark Slater on China and various other matters, commodity prices, frauds, Mosman Oil & Gas, Verdes, Northern Petroleum, Aoerama Communications, Gowin New, JQW, Shaft Sinkers and Mariana (a scoop there if you want to steal it as well McCrum you wanker)

An Open Letter to Big Ray Zimmerman of ZAI re his fraudulent client Naibu

It is now three weeks since shares in Naibu (NBU) were suspended from the AIM casino pending clarification of its financial position, notwithstanding the fact that it claimed to be profitable, cash generative and to have net cash of £32 million – a multiple of its market cap. In light of this I have again written to Big Ray Zimmerman of ZAI Corporate Finance, Nomad to this fraud because the implications of the fraud are severe for not only Naibu but also ZAI, Daniel Stewart (DAN) and the other members of the Fujian four – China Chaintek (CTEK), Camkids (CAMK) and Jiasen (JSI). Plus for good measure JQW (JQW).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - 23rd January

In today's podcast I look at the PR/Financial Press corrupt deal. I then move into Quindell, Robinson, Cambria Africa, Frontier Mining, what timber prices tell us about general earnings visibility, Gowin New, a new China POS that had been flagged up to me called JQW (target price 0p), the Wandisco pump and dump and Jiasen International.
