The Tories have been cutting taxes to help their rich pals while screwing the poor! I am sure I have heard that on the BBC about once a day for the past decade and it is what our schools and universities teach their kids. But oh no, the truth is very different. As Rishi Sunak prepares for more tax hikes in his budget, the Taxpayers Alliance has published new research showing what a Con the Tories have been while claiming to be a low tax party. It is shocking.

Hello, Share Chums. If you watch the BBC News every night, as I do, you would think the end of the world is nigh. Story on story about how folks and businesses are reeling from the pandemic. And lots of people are suffering. However, the vast majority are not. For example, all my three children are still working, albeit from home.

I ponder this grave question after considering the illogical hateful restrictions we face in Shipston next week. In another podcast, I raise the possibility that Donald Trump might win on November 3 because of factors the deadwood press and BBC opt to ignore. All is explained HERE. Then I discuss three sets of builders here at the Welsh Hovel who must be starting to dislike me. Then it is onto Centamin (CEY), Bidstack (BIDS) and Network International (NETW) – a £1.5 billion short?

Even where the Government is testing like the blazes to cover its arse and con us into believing that its coronavirus response was sensible and proportionate, it is struggling to find cases. In the new 'hotspot' of Blackburn where there is mass testing, the cases are just 77 per 100,000. Of those found posititve, nearly all of them are asymptomatic so would not have known they had Covid had they not been tested. This testing is not saving any lives.

The deadwood press, notably those on the left which, natch, also includes the woeful BBC, loves the chancellor Rishi Sunak. Thanks to his forest of money trees the UK will see a V shaped recovery, jobs will be saved and no-one will have to pay for a policy response to a disaster which was entirely self inflicted: the mad lockdown. Of course, you and I know this is all tosh.

Apparently, last night the BBC aired a celeb packed fund raiser, its Big Night In. It was another occasion when multimillionaires urged we poor plebs to hand over our hard earned cash to a “good cause”. This time it is Coronavirus or rather the fight against it. My own views on Covid 19 are clear, I regard it as the biggest policy blunder in British History driven by utterly crazy GroupThink. But I digress slightly.

I see that Roger Lawson of ShareSoc is today praising the FT's coverage of Neil Woodford. How sad and predictable that the establishment engages in mutual masturbation rathing than seeking the truth. The FT is the paper that publisshed a blow job interview with Woodford as recently as April 2019. Of course Roger is not mentioning our work in his little read blog posts or praising the folks who called this one out with more than 1000 articles and podcasts since 2015. But I hope that the BBC does recognise who was Woodford's nemesis on Monday. In case it has forgotten here are our 50 most read articles on the ex fund manager

Evil hedge funds backed Boris as they were betting heavily on shares to crash claims the crazy cat woman Carole Cadwalladr to rapturous applause from fellow financial illiterates. No doubt the BBC will lap thus up but the only problem is that it is completely untrue. It is fake news. I discuss this plus a cunning escape plan put forward for Neil Woodford's Equity Income Fund. But there are snags.

The silly campaign by whining remoaners to boycott JD Wetherspoon (JDW) is not working. Ha! For the 10 weeks to 7 July 2019 like-for-like sales increased by 6.9% and total sales increased by 6.6%. Year-to-date like-for-like sales have increased by 6.7% and total sales increased by 7.4%.. In bringing us this good news, chairman Tim Martin is again our hero of the day for some sane words on Brexit Tired of Project Fear from the BBC, the Quislings at the CBI, The Guardian, the pink comic that is the FT and our own Malcolm Stacey? Over to Tim who writes:

The Mrs tuned the radio and the awful BBC tortured me all morning reaching peak torture during Woman's Hour. It was strangely addictive. It is what Hell will be like when I go there on the day of judgement. Tearing myself away I look at Sound Energy (SOU), Highlands Natural Resources (HNR), TrakM8 (TRAK) and Imaginatik (IMTK)
