Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: May 1 he is made a Lord, June 2017 he hands over £500,000 - nothing to see here sir, move along quietly!

I start with the reason for no bearcast yesterday, Joshua and I heading to an empty house in Shipston. Then today’s Advent calendar window which confuses me. Then onto Nakama (NAK), Red Rock Resources (RRR), Wishbone (WSBN) which could be a 100 bagger – see HERE  - Monday’s fraud conference which is definitely my last outing as a speaker – Anglesey Mining (AYM) and finally why at every level, including valuation, Sensyne (SENS) is a complete and utter stinker.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Joshua pukes in church, will Zoetic shares puke later?

That put an end to his nursery day halfway through the practice for the Carol service. Anyhow, he is now back here with me and Maddie Moate and recovering. In today’s podcast, I discuss a change of name from Concepta (CPT) to My Health Check (MHC) and Wishbone (WSBN) en passant then am upset that Powerhouse (PHE) is still not answering my questions about related party (no sniggering at the back) transactions. Then, in more detail, DeepVerge (DVRG) and Zoetic (ZOE).

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Bell, Adams & Bird are only heros because gold is going up, right?

I start this bonus bearcast prompted by your emails and comments while I started to make some Damson Jam with Joshua with a few comments on the wisdom or otherwise of averaging down with reference to Wishbone Gold (WSBN). Then I look at NoGold’s claim (poor fellow having no gold exposure of late) that gold is being driven higher by herd behaviour. Finally, I am told that Messrs Andrew Bell (Red Rock Resources -RRR), Colin Bird (Xtract Resources – XTR, and others), and Harry Adams (Kefi) are only looking like heroes rather than zeros, as has been the case for many years, because gold is going higher. Referencing also Mr Kerim Sener of Ariana Resources (AAU), I discuss this and the nature of investing in mining stocks.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: If First Derivatives only wants questions about how big its CEO's cock is I have a nasty surprise for it

In today's podcast I have some bad news for Bath Spa as the Mrs prepares to head to the Grim North relating to what happened after I gave this talk. I also have bad news for First Derivatives (FDP) as it prepares for a "Capital markets Day" session of mutual masturbation with the dumb sell side analysts and even dimmer fund managers who have stuffed other folks cash into this stock. I cover Totally (TLY), Wishbone (WSBN), Ariana (AAU), Quadrise Fuels (QFI) and Richoux (RIC)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: resolving the Barclays affair & a day of spoofing

I start with the final part of my story of battles with the bastards at Barclays (BARC). Then I cover Wishbone (WSBN), shares we own, Online Blockchain (OBC), shares I'd rather eat my own toes than own, MySquar (FRAUD), Conroy Gold (CGNR), I3 Energy (I3E), Catenae (CTEA) and Oilex (OEX).

PCG Entertainment: For the love of God, Poulden, do something….anything……just not another placing!

Five months ago, I gave Mr Poulden at PCG Entertainment (PCGE) a slight ribbing as he never seems to achieve anything at PCGE other than a steady decline on the share price of course. He responded rather pompously so I thought it about time to review the exciting recent progress. Funnily enough just yet another bloody placing to report!

UK Investor Show 2018 Video Gold & Mining session - Frisby, Van Dyke, Atherley et al

Chaired by Brian Kinane of Riverfort this was a real clash of ideas and featured Dominic Frisby, Paul Atherley of Berkeley (BKY), Richard Poulden of Wishbone (WSBN), Peter Bird of Asiamet (ARS) and - making a very welcome return - Amanda Van Dyke, now a fund manager.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - not a day I want to repeat

There seems to be a lot happening and as a result this bearcast comes to you from Shipston. I will head back to London later tonight and hope to see you all at UK Investor Show tomorrow. Pro tem I comment on Corero (CNS), Minoan (MIN), Amryt (AMYT) and Wishbone (WSBN) - we own the last two on that list and are very happy to do so. I also comment on allegations made elsewhere by the "share blogger of the year."

Wishbone – Good News from Honduras

AIM-listed gold trading play Wishbone (WSBN) has announced the signing of a joint venture deal SION Honduras which will provide funding and expertise to existing small gold mines in Honduras so as to assist with the increase in production. The good news for Wishbone is that the deal involves all the output from those mines being supplied to Wishbone – at preferential prices – in a deal which runs for 30 years.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: You cannot finesse & trade fundamentals: ref Minoan & Wishbone

The Mrs (on maternity leave) is off galavanting somewhere. Eight days ahead of UK Investor, the busiest time of the year, I am babysitting. I am such a god damn frigging feminist. Anyhow I record this in terror lest Joshua wakes up. In today's podcast I explain why you cannot finesse a trade on a fundamental play and discuss Minoan (MIN) and Wishbone (WSBN) in that vein. I look at Digital Barriers (DGB) the latest triumph from Cloudtag (CTAG) moron in chief Liam Nichols. I discuss Tethys (TPL) which like Cloudtag is soon to leave the AIM Casino, Nyota (NYO) and London Capital (LCG).

Gold

This Pullback In Gold Is Over – Or Is It?

I am a gold bull and hope that after Donald Trump wins on Tuesday we will see another big leg up. Hence we retain big positions in gold plays such as Petropavlovsk (POG), Wishbone (WSBN) and smaller holdings in Kefi (KEFI). So what does the chart say? Over to Palisade Capital.

Malcolm Stacey on Holiday Caption Contest day 3 (and day 2 winner)

Getafix is still on holiday and without his enthusiastic endorsement trading activity in Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) has all but disappeared. But as a consolation the old boy has sent us another holiday snap which is begging for a suitable caption. Yesterday's picture produced a standout winner from the 10 entries as you can see HERE

Shanta Gold – another spoof director share buy

AIM-listed Shanta Gold (SHG) has announced another director share purchase which looks to me to be more of a sell signal than a buy signal. I previously highlighted (HERE) that CEO Toby Bradbury had changed his mind about supporting the recent fundraising by ponying up for 500,000 shares at the offer price of 6.5p – instead completing half of promised purchase in the market at the reduced price of 5.65p. Today we learn that NED Robin Fryer has put his hand in his pocket to the tune of 45,000 shares at 6.2p.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast- Some folks trading AIM stocks are so fecking stupid: I don't believe it

I was pruning my first olive tree of the day and heard a noise behind me. Fearing the worst I turned and it was a tortoise which just sat there blinking at me. It was a special moment. That tortoise is smarter than idiots buying Circle Oil (COP) shares today. FFS how thick some folks are. Then I move onto Nature Group (NGR), Boxhill (BOX), Blenheim Natural Resources (BNR), Gable (GAH) and Wishbone (WSBN). Then a section on a PR man telling me what I should or should not be writing about Watchstone (WTG) The fecking cheeky bastard should stick to being an evil spinmeister and leave journalism to the professionals. Maybe PRs dont want us writing about an admission of £100 million fraud on AIM and would rather we just eprinted their lies/press releases? It is just not the way I work!

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - the facts of life for a whinger from the Liverpool welfare safaris

I start by putting one scouser straight on how things work in the real world. Then it is onto DDD Group, China Norfolk Aquatic Foods (AFG), Glenwick (GWIK), Sovereign Mines of Africa (SMA), Wishbone (WSBN), R4E (R4E) - go Dr Hon! -  and Gulf Keystone (GKP).

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - 3 days to Holiday: Yippee & Wildes is a comic genius

In three days I shall be at the Greek Hovel with the snakes, losing weight as I engage in manual labour, leaving Steve in charge. Today I deal with silly emails from Brokerman Dan Levi. Plus ca change. In today's podcast I look at Metal Tiger (MTR) and Conroy Gold (CGNR), a company that really needs Metal's Midas touch. I look at Marechale capital (MAC), Fitbug (FITB), Arian Silver (AGQ), Wishbone (WSBN) and in detail Servision (SEV). And I have had a complaint to the FRC rejected. Drat.

Bearcast

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 2nd May - why I like gold & why we own what we own

is this is a bullcast? We have 15% of our portfolio in gold becuase we are bearish about shares. Does that make sense? I discuss why you should own some physical gold and then why we own the shares we do, notably Petropavlovsk (POG), Ariana (AAU) and Wishbone (WSBN) but also much smaller amounts of Eurasia (EUA), Bluebird (BMV) and Armadale Capital (ACP)
