Tern – As The Wheels Come Off This Remains A Stonking Sell

AIM-listed jam-tomorrow internet of things investment company Tern plc (TERN) has announced a fundraise at investee INVMA resulting is an upwards revaluation of its investment. Two other investors have stepped up to the plate in the form of Foresight and Mercia, stumping up £1.925 million between them (presumably of other people’s money) to add to a further investment from Tern of just £0.2 million. Good news for INVMA, as it now has cash – and good news for Tern as at least one hungry mouth to feed has been satiated for the time being.

Tern – BBM Turkeys vote for Christmas as GM Resolution passes

AIM-listed jam-tomorrow Iot Investment company Tern plc (TERN) held its General Meeting yesterday in a second attempt for the board to gain authorisation to roll out the confetti-printing press. It got through this time, and the announcement came at 11.23am yesterday morning.

Tern – as shares collapse, what is in prospect?

Less than two weeks ago AIM-listed jam-tomorrow (but never delivered) Internet of Things investment company Tern plc (TERN) saw its shares trading at 30p – a monstrous overvaluation when compared to its last stated NAV per share of just 7.3p. Now, just a few days later, the stock is down to just 15.75p (last seen) – which is, of course, still a monstrous overvaluation. But there is plenty more pain to come for shareholders.

Tern – Doctor, heal thyself!

Shares in AIM-listed jam-tomorrow IoT investment company Tern plc (TERN) have been on the rampage again. Having sunk to sub-4p in the wake of its last placing, which had been intended to raise £3 million but only notched up £0.8 million propped up by management support, the stock closed last week at 11.25p, having peaked at 15.75p on Thursday. What gives?

Bad News Buried on Election Results Day: Anglesey Mining

Not content with leaving burying bad news on polling day to the likes of Purplebricks (PURP) or Versarien (VRS), this morning – election results day – AIM-listed Anglesey Mining (AYM) joined the fray with its Interims to September. They are truly horrid.

Tern – portfolio update from Adam Reynolds’ Keyboard screams SELL! Tits up by Christmas!

I stress that as far as I know Adam Reynolds has nothing whatsoever to do with AIM-listed jam-tomorrow IoT Investment Company Tern (TERN) but it seems that Tern has borrowed his keyboard to offer up this morning’s portfolio update – where there are no meaningful numbers. More to the point, there is still no comment on the apparent $10 million fundraise by its principal investee, Device Authority (DA), which suggests to me that the whole story was utter poppycock and the market should have told so. But instead, Tern got a placing away – for the second time in its history. However, the few numbers offered are truly alarming.

Tern….…..and there’s the placing. Told y’all!

Well done to Al Sisto and his team at AIM-listed jam-tomorrow IoT Investment company Tern plc (TERN) – a great job raising c. £1.75 million at 11.15p per share, a discount of 19%. No matter that there are unanswered questions over an apparent $10 million fundraise at its principal investee Device Authority which seems not to be a fundraise at all. No matter about the webinar with Microsoft or the tweets about a visit to Microsoft HQ – the main development appears to be a fundraise at new-ish investee FundamentalVR, which has closed a £4.3 million fundraise which includes the conversion of a loan note by Tern at a 20% discount. So what about Device Authority?......

Tern spends its last pennies – when’s the placing/fleecing?

Yesterday on the back of interims from AIM-listed jam-tomorrow investment company Tern plc (TERN) I showed that despite the headlines of the interims, it is running out of cash. This morning, right on cue, it announced yet another quarterly convertible loan has been issued to its supposed jewel in the crown, Device Authority. If my maths is right, Tern will be totally skint by Christmas unless those fine chaps at HMRC hand over a bunch of cash to Device Authority and it hands it over to Tern...

Tern – Interims finally arrive and they are truly awful. SELL

Jibed by me yesterday, AIM-listed jam-tomorrow investment company Tern (TERN) has finally got around to releasing its interims and as suggested the numbers are truly awful. Indeed, without a placing or a disposal it looks set to be out of cash by Christmas despite the placing to raise £1.5 million (with 10% costs!) shortly after the FY18 umbers were released. So much for being fully funded to the end of this year, as we were being told last year. When’s the placing and what will be the discount demanded by the bucket shops? Or will Tern just go bust?

Redx Pharma – great news, but…..

AIM-listed Redx Pharma (REDX) has released great news in that it has sold one of its products for $3.5 million upfront plus up to $203 million in milestone and royalty payments, plus a cut of any sales. That’s a lot of cash – or it may be, if all the hurdles are passed successfully – but of course, those hurdles may not be quite so easy to clear, and it certainly won’t be any time soon. The shares are up heavily by 124% at 14p on the news, but I just wonder if the market is suffering from over-enthusiasm.

Conroy Gold – FY results…..balance sheet a shambles, the end is surely nigh: SELL

AIM-listed Conroy Gold and Natural Resources (CGNR) offered up its FY results to May y31 esterday morning. There was plenty of blarney, of course, but the bottom line is that the balance sheet is in a mess – it needs yet another mega-placing PDQ to keep the lights on, and I don’t think it will get it away. Oh, and  NED, Dr Karl Keegan, is stepping down after just 15 months in the job. In short, the end appears to be nigh.

Haydale – shares tanking again. When's the placing (if you can)?

I can’t help but notice that shares in AIM-listed Haydale have been on the slide once more. Today they are off by another 13.2% - I wonder if the company wants to issue a statement as to the reason why? Na….thought not. Well, just to help out Haydale (‘cos we are such nice guys)…..

Updated: Reabold - £10 million discounted placing underway: source

A reliable City source tells me that Reabold (RBD) spent much of yesterday attempting to get a £10 million fund raising away.  If this is the case it is going to have to be at a steep discount and the shares are trading down 9% at 0.75p-0.85p indicating something is afoot. I have contacted house broker Turner Pope giving it the chance to deny and…

Tern – yet another placing (told ya!) and investee InVMA goes shopping

Time to get out the ouzo, for AIM-listed jam-tomorrow investment company Tern plc (TERN) has raided the bucket shops once again – this time raising £2.9 million (before expenses) at 26p, a discount of 21%. In a separate announcement, we are also told that investee company InVMA has been shopping – but no financials are offered and I fancy that is because the purchase is quite insignificant - it was, after all, an RNS Reach.

Haydale – shares crash again. So much for a placing at 50p, SELL!

Shares in AIM-listed Haydale have been a one-way bet to financial destruction ever since it conducted a placing at 120p (a discount to the then share price of some 32%). In the wake of a trading warning and the stepping aside of its CEO, the stock has now crashed to just 50.5p – the stock gave up a further 14% on Friday alone. The problem is that it needs to get another bailout placing away.

Strat Aero signs "Significant commercial agreement" - really? But what about the looming insolvency?

Today's pre-placing ramp is for serial offender in this regard, Strat Aero (AERO). The totally insolvent AIM dog boasts that it has signed a "significant" Commercial Agreement with Alnahdi Aviation Technology , experts in aviation technology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to collaborate on establishing a UAV Training Centre in the KSA." Fab. So how much will this bring in? Er...

Strat Aero - reality setting in - do not BUY!

I warned you in explicit terms yesterday that the doubling of the Strat Aero (AERO) share price to 0.14p on the back of results which can best be described as a shit sandwich with dollops of jam tomorrow on top, was not justified. The shares have now slumped back to 0.09p-0.11p (TW 7, BBMs 0 once again) but do not BUY now for there are still deluded fools abroad.

Strat Aero - shares double on results but the company is almost bust - placing ahoy!

Shares in Strat Aero (AERO) have almost doubled today to 0.14p which amazing as the final results for calendar 2016 are out and are utterly crap. Okay they are less crap than 2015 but they are crap and indicate that the company must be as near as damn it, bust. Yes we are promised more jam tomorrow but before we get there surely it is placing ahoy?

ECR Minerals - £1 million placing at 1.8p - a pain but probably good news

Having got us all excited with news that the Chinese money was in two days ago the shares started racing away - hitting 2.3p on Thursday - and guess what: another placing - £1 million raised at 1.8p. ECR Minerals (ECR) says that it was over-subscribed. Well do bears shit in the woods - give stock away at a whopping discount and of course your placing will be oversubscribed.

Andalas - Spoof y'all: whens the next bailout placing?

Dave "Rule breaker" Whitby and his colleagues at AIM Listed Piece of Turkish Andalas Energy (ADL) are on the spoof again with a ramptastic RNS saying nothing at all of of any interest whatsoever. Folks know Whitby's game and the shares are off at just 0.165p because what is really happening is the start of the ramping that proceeds a deeply discounted placing. Next up a soft interview with Zak "Judas" Mir, a podcast with Justin the clown or a presentation at a Proactive seminar? Perhaps a buy note from Edison? We have seen the Andalas ramp before and surely no-one is stupid enough to buy it again?

Motive TV – Placing Confirmed: These chaps are taking the piss

Earlier today I stated that Motive TV (MTV) was set to raise £400,000 at 0.1p and was passing the hat around. Well almost right, I guess I forced the company’s hand as the shares started to crumble and so it closed the book early and after hours announced that it had raised £350,000 at 0.125p. Given that the shares closed at 0.185p (but were trading at 0.22p as the placing was being done until I ruined the party) the discount is still enormous. This is a 22 billion rum ‘n coke – the statement published shows that someone is avin a bubble.

Provexis raises £280,000, Primarybid.com gathers steam

Yesterday morning, Provexis (PXS) announced it had raised £280,000 through Primarybid.com. I won’t pretend to know the first thing about Provexis, but this looks like a positive step forward in the evolution of AIM. Primarybid.com is a crowdfunding service, designed to end the tyranny of bucket shop placements on AIM.

Exclusive: Rose Petroleum Placing closed last night - as predicted at 0.3p

Last week I forced a statement out of Rose Petroleum (ROSE) after stating HERE that it was seeking to raise £3 million at 0.3p - the shares were then 0.6p. Rose, pathetically, said that it was looking to raise £3-5 million but denied that any price had been set. Well Gotcha fellows.

Kea to raise £3 million via Primary Bid – the Revolution against crony City capitalists starts NOW

In olden days Kea Petroleum (KEA) would have raised money at big discounts through bucket shops who would have taken a big commission as would have greedy brokers. Well done Kea.

Northern Petroleum – what a total fucking omnishambles of an RNS

I have already explained in my Bearcast why Keith Bush, the CEO of AIM casino POS Northern Petroleum (NOP) should be taken out and strung up with piano wire for the contempt with which he has treated the owners of this company where he has been rewarded for abject failure. But today’s RNS requires further comment as it is a classic in omnishambles obfuscation.

Tom Winnifrith Video -10 Pump & Dump AIM stocks to flag up

At the ShareProphets Seminar on 2nd February I did a joint presentation with my pal Anand from PrimaryBid. Anand’s new venture goes live next week and aims to kill off the bucket shops by allowing private investors to supply capital to AIM tiddlers at a discounted price directly. It will also make it cheaper for such firms to raise capital. I hope you will ALL support this venture and register HERE

ShareProphets Exclusive: Bucket shop market abusers find new way to steal from private investors

Private investors on AIM are used to watching millions wiped off the value of their investments by the illegal forward selling of placements, followed by gratuitous discounts forced by brokers. Not content with the scale of their illegitimate profits, it now looks like the market abusers have struck upon a new method of stealing from shareholders. It’s come to our attention that certain bucket shops are demanding a sizeable percentage of brokers’ fees for participation in placements. Sadly, we have been made aware of at least one broker, which is playing along with this outrage. This helps explain the mystery of the increasing number of stocks we’ve watched trade below placement prices, immediately after the completion of fundraisings. Even by the abysmal standards of AIM’s cesspit, this revelation is a new low.

Death to the bucket shops –now private investors can do the discounted placings themselves: AIM Revolution starts TODAY!

A revolution on AIM starts today. The days when small AIM stocks could only raise money at a huge discount with private investors excluded and screwed are now over thanks to a new platform  Primarybid which is going live right now – this will screw lazy City corporate brokers and – hopefully – put the bucket shops to the sword by allowing private investors to directly offer funding to AIM stocks. Let me explain, this is revolutionary and brilliant
