Bowleven: What value Etinde?

Yesterday morning Crown Ocean launched its requisition for an EGM at Bowleven (BLVN). I explained why the coup is a “no-brainer” here. Bowleven’s management is surely toast. Having taken tens of millions in remuneration over the years, and spent hundreds of millions on failed projects, this company has been a classic value trap. But could that all be about to change?

Bowleven - The palace coup is underway & the management is doomed

Hedge fund Crown Ocean Capital P1 Ltd has called an EGM to oust six utterly useless and grossly overpaid board members (the dirty half dozen) at Bowleven (BLVN) and replace them with Christopher Ashworth and Eli Chahin. We can reveal that the coup is a nil brainer - management is toast. Here is why...

Discredited Teathers director Nilesh Jagatia has form in failing to produce accounts on time

It seems that Nilesh Jagatia, discredited director of Teathers Financial (TEA), has got recent form when it comes to failing to submit accounts by the statutory deadline. Mr Jagatia is finance directors of a number of Plcs, including one of my old favourites, the piece of Turkish that is Inspirit Energy (INSP). Just like Teathers, in December last year Inspirit received a First Gazette to strike the company off the register of companies for failing to provide its accounts on time. What is it that Mr Jagatia doesn’t understand about the legal requirements concerning his job?

Broker Brandon Hill: Kefi Minerals funding news very positive

We note that former colleague flip flop Ben Turney is (again) urging his followers on twitter to fill their boots with small gold plays including Kefi Minerals (KEFI). We would advise you against betting the ranch on such enterprises but Kefi did have news on its funding for Tulu Kapi last week which was a move in the right direction. Its house broker Brandon Hill, predictably, enthuses...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 29 December: Flip Flop Ben Turney, ZincOx, 88E shareholders you are all in frigging denial

I delay breakfast at Tom's Diner in Brooklyn for you dear listeners. I explain the sacrifice I am making.  Then the theme is one of denial as I examine Zincox (ZOX), Sefton Resources (SER) & flip flop Ben Turney and finally 88 Energy (88E). I move onto how one reacts to fair questions and the scumbags at China New Energy (CNEL) and Afriag (AFRI). I look at Asian Citrus (ACH), InternetQ (INTQ) and Mosman (MSMN) - both zeros and eServGlobal (ESG) which is also heading for 0p. There is a final swipe at Rare Earth Minerals (REM) and Jabba The Hutt, Mr David Lenigas.

Brokerman Dan must be on the legal highs, Ben Turney not sacked

I can only conclude that my old pal Brokerman Dan must have been on the legal highs yesterday as he tweeted out the breaking news that flip flop Ben Turney had been sacked as editor of ShareProphets. Ben has not been fired.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast Special: Dave Whitby of CEB Resources should be sacked and prosecuted TODAY

Shares in CEB Resources (CEB) are suspended on AIM ahead of an announcement on Monday. That is because its CEO Dave Whitby revealed a stack of price sensitive data including news that an RTO was planned in a podcast on ADVFN with Justin the Clown Yesterday. Flip Flop Ben Turney is so busy blowing smoke up the arse of Whitby that he may wish to ignore this. Whitby has broken insider dealing laws and a stack of AIM Rules. He should be sacked at once, barred from AIM and prosecuted. If you want to clean up AIM you deal with those who break the laws. Whitby has broken the laws. The Sheriff of AIM is getting a noose ready...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 22 Oct - Flip Flop talks bollocks (again), Globo, Cambian & Big Dave's next placings

Thanks for all your messages regarding the legal triumph, I comment en passant. Then the podcast turns to the nonsense that flip flop Ben Turney is spouting. I am beginning to think that Old Malcolm Stacey is not the only mad lefty on this website. Then onto Globo (GBO) and more news on "that report" and analysis of the potential for disaster at Cambian (CMBN) even AFTER today's dire warning. There is comment on what is happening at SIG (SHI) and Travis Perkins (TPK) and then onto events at Afriag (AFRI - when's the placing - and growing evidence that the Lenigas Cuba IPO is not exactly flying. Oh... and Northbridge (NBI) when's the profits warning?

CEB Resources – flip flop and the rampers talking nonsense

Flip flop Ben Turney, Doc Holiday, Zak, they are all at it… talking utter nonsense about CEB Resources (CEB). This stock is a conviction sell at 0.93p and anyone who says otherwise just does not understand the basics of fundamental analysis.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Stockmarket crash Edition - are you listening Getafix?

A few house points on Chris Oil, Dan Levi and flip flop Ben Turney then onto the stockmarket crash. Yes I called this right and comrade Malcolm Stacey er...less right. Getafix says he is not panicking TODAY ( why not?) but I now update my analysis and explain why shares may spike higher short term ( but many not) but why medium term I stay bearish. And where I am especially bearish.

Ben’s AIM CEO No 2 is either a big girl’s blouse or a snake

Yesterday Flip Flop Ben Turney gave a platform to an AIM CEO who was bleating about how his share price kept tumbling and blamed bashers, insider dealers and more or less everyone. The man is either a big girl’s blouse or a snake.

Why do some folk think that the Kurds give a FF about shareholders in Gulf Keystone?

Bombing attacks by Turkey on their kinsman, ISIS chopping off heads of their soldiers? A record heatwave in the region killing the old folk and kids? A war on three fronts? Bugger that, these are but trivial issues for the Government of Kurdistan, top of its agenda is protecting the wealth of Bulletin Board morons who own shares in Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP). Well that is what flip flop Ben Turney, Paul Curtis and other bulls of this stock want you to believe. They are wrong.

David Lenigas calls me a liar ...a riposte from Tom Winnifrith

Not a lot can now get me to take out time from my sabbatical. After a couple of days with my father this week I have been inspired to write the first (short) chapter of the novel which is now with my friend Gary for review. However, David “when I said 3g seismic I meant 2g” Lenigas tweeting that I am a liar and should “get a life” drives me to respond.
