My attention is drawn to a press release issued by this wretched Government which should, I believe, force Optibiotix (OPTI) to make a statement and make even the most cynical of bears wake up. It reads:

Cynical Bear is yet to comment ”told y’all” but being a drearily predictable fellow, it cannot be long now. Big Sofa (BST) has had another placing. But this one is different. I was made an insider on Wednesday and opted to take part and expect my 4p investment to double in pretty short order and to be well ahead of that by Christmas.

Another week and another deal is announced by OptiBiotix Health plc (OPTI). This is a three year supply agreement with Biolat JSC covering the supply of its cholesterol and blood pressure reducing LPLDL® strain in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. It seems that in the Baltic states they are more likely to die of heart disease than anyone else on this planet so it is not a bad target market.

Tom Winnifrith writes: Firstly an apology from us. Big Sofa (BST) has been a very poor tip - as big investors in the IPO we share your pain and - justifiable - anger. We apologise for believing numerous things said by CEO Simon Liddington. I have just emailed him and called him, to his face rather than behind his back, a “corporate wanker” for reasons I shall explain below. He should resign at once allowing newly appointed CCO Kirsty Fuller to take charge. Liddington is not fit for purpose and I am sorely tempted to go to the forthcoming EGM and tell him that, once again, to his face and demand he goes.

Some of you will be aware of my whining about market makers and house broker games played out on the trading floor of AIM. I am sure some of you think these are merely conspiracy theories of a blogger and attempted to explain negative share price movements on a particular day. I'm not going to rehash my market maker theory again, instead, lets discuss a the role of a house broker, I guess these creatures are right at the top of the tree, along with bankers, as a breed of creatures we hate because we feel they cannot be trusted, and yet we are effectively held to ransomed because of the duty they perform.

Tom Winnifrith writes and has also discussed this in bearcast HERE: We ordinary shareholders in Premaitha (NIPT) have suffered for many years and shown enormous loyalty. News released well after the market close of a £2.5 million placing at 10p might thus seem like a kick in the teeth by a management treating us with contempt. I am afraid the story is far worse.

AIM-listed online ladies clothing purveyor Sosandar (SOS) had its AGM today and offered a few nuggets of information which suggest that things are pretty much on track with management expectations. Since we already know that management is “very comfortable” with the forecast numbers offered by house broker Shore Capital (I would translate that as meaning easy to beat!) and we know those numbers (see HERE). So that looks pretty positive. Mind you, we were not offered actual numbers for summer trading as the Adam Reynolds computer keyboard struck again!

Shareholders in AIM-listed Adam Reynolds stable Sosandar (SOS) have an AGM to look forward to next Tuesday, and I am very hopeful that a trading update will accompany proceedings. At the last count the company reported quarter on quarter growth of 70-odd percent – a remarkable achievement, even for a near start-up. The market is clearly hoping for more of the same, although I’m not sure that rate of growth will have been repeated over the summer holidays. But it has been growing like mad – and we loyal shareholders have done very well.

Heck, even semi-pro Adam Reynolds baiter Cynical Bear seems to be warming to Optibiotix (OPTI) as you can see HERE. And there are fundamental reasons for this. We noted last week:
Published 448 days ago
I dropped Tom a note immediately upon seeing the great looking Ipsos funding deal with Big Sofa Technologies (BST) on Friday morning saying that it looked like good news. He followed up immediately with a demand for a grovelling apology. Being a reasonable sort, I thought I had better do the decent thing and give him as fulsome a one as I can muster from the bottom of the heart.

I hope you enjoyed the two share tips earlier and thanks for the kind words from many of you abour our place in Greece. I start with a look at Strat Aero (AERO). I covered the dire maths earlier here but it is the sheer dishonesty of the placing that really annoys me. Then I look at more bad news for Nomates Woodford from Provident Financial (PFG) which cvould well up a zero. Then I cover UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) as its shares slide again and Arian Silver (AGQ) which is worthless. Adam Reynolds was not - as gleeful in house BB loon Wildes suggests - fired by Optibiotix (OPTI) - I explain why I remain uber bullish there. Finally today's interims from Vianet (VNET) are misleading and even after a 10% fall today the stock is a slam dunk sell.

This podcast was interrupted by the sight of my friend the feral cat. Three years ago I gave a black and white feral kitten who had wandered up to the hovel some milk. I am not sure if it is the same creature but now and again a black and white cat stalks the hovel in search of snakes and rats to eat. I hope its the same cat. Anyhow I am excited to see him again and got a picture as you can see below despite him, being feral, not being that friendly. The podcast itself covers Adam Reynolds and the Adam Reynolds stocks many of which we own. I do this in response to Cynical Bear's ill informed mud slinging of earlier.

I start with the departure of Adam Reynolds from New World Oil & Gas (NEW) explaining what - I think -went on. Then it is on to Afren (AFR)and how the SFO works in practice.I look at LoopUp (LOOP) where yesterday's statement rings less and less true and which looks more and more of a slam dunk short as a result. There is further comment on Westminster Group (WSG) and praise, with caveats, for the Ferrets, Ferrum Crescent (FCR).

"When's the Big Sofa (BST) placing?" said one of our contributors after results last week. Well "there isn't one" said the company. Over at Value the Markets they claimed that the company had guided that it would do calendar 2016 sales of £1.5-£2 million when it listed (sales came in at £757,000). Given that miss VTM said "take profits" and Leon Boros of the discredited abusers and rampers nest that is ShareSoc tweeted this aggressively. But there was no official guidance from the company- that was not true. The company listed on 19 December 2016 - is anyone really claiming it guided to £1.5-£2 million 6 days before Christmas and 12 days before the year end when it would have know that its sales just ahead of the Christmas break were going to be c £757,000 ( the eventual FY number) . What total bollocks.

INVST is a new platform claiming to allow retail investors to invest in placings with City brokers. The company presented at Gold & Bears as you can see here but its formal launch today really does not make you trust the folks at INVST at all since it is materially less than transparent.

After an annus horribilis for New World Oil (NEW) in 2015 which (to put it midly) has been engulfed by shady business, things now appear to be looking up for shareholders as Adam Reynolds '' front man supremo '' and corporate sanitiser Nick Lee join the board to help clean up and vend in a more attractive proposition.

And now it is the shellmeister Adam Reynolds, he of Optibiotix (OPTI), New World Oil & Gas (NEW) and Premaitha (NIPT) fame presenting at Gold & Bears. A full interview by the Sith Lord with Adam is out today and can be read HERE. Enjoy the video.

Entrepreneurially-flavoured AIM dog Orogen Gold (ORE) is making excited noises about ‘preliminary interpretations’ of its latest drilling programme at the Mutsk gold project in Southern Armenia, which it claims suggest new gold zones and extensions to the existing zone already identified there. Chaired by colourful wheeler-dealer and shellmeister Adam Reynolds, the company, which began its AIM life as aspirant though ultimately unsuccessful gym equipment supplier MeDa Vinci but recently recruited indefatigable small mining company player Colin Bird as chief executive, indicates the drilling has revealed shallow gold-bearing intervals with enhanced grades.

Having, since August AIM admission, looked at “a number” of potential bolt-on acquisitions to broaden its product offering, REACT Group (REAT) has announced “the expansion of its service offerings into Licensed Asbestos Removal and Occupational Hygiene Services”.

So there we have it. Adam Reynolds and Nick Lee have received an overwhelming mandate to transform New World Oil & Gas (NEW). Both men got elected to the board with over 99% of votes cast. This represents a great victory for shareholders and goes to show that positive, organised shareholder activism on AIM can work.

Tomorrow I am off to Jersey for New World Oil & Gas’ (NEW) Annual General Meeting. If all goes to plan, Adam Reynolds and Nick Lee will be elected to the board, while Peter Sztyk will be deservedly kicked off. Although this should prove to be the watershed moment in New World’s transformation, it will not necessarily trigger an immediate rally in the share price. The hard work begins, once the result is known. However, if Reynolds and Lee remain true to form then 2016 could be incredibly exciting year for this company.

The vote at New World Oil & Gas’ (NEW) forthcoming AGM on 17 November is not yet won. Shareholders still need to unite behind Adam Reynolds and Nick Lee to give them as strong a mandate for change as possible. A cleansed New World could present a fantastic prospect, but the market remains sceptical. The toxic legacy of the current board will take time and effort to clean up, but for once on AIM private investors have a genuine opportunity to make a decisive difference in the company they own.

New World Oil & Gas (NEW) has finally announced the date of the AGM. This marks the culmination of months of hard work behind the scenes, ensuring an orderly transition for the company from being one of AIM’s most despised stocks to one with an extremely bright future. As expected, Adam Reynolds is on the ticket for election to the board, but in a surprise twist he is joined by Nick Lee of Paternoster Resources (PRS). Lee will have the full support of NWOGaction, so his appointment is almost a foregone conclusion. Fred Hodder is retiring and Peter Sztyk now deservedly faces the wrath of his shareholders. This is all fantastic news.

This morning, Paternoster Resources (PRS) announced it has bought an 8% stake in New World Oil & Gas (NEW). In yet another unexpected twist in the unfolding New World story, Paternoster’s motives are unclear. With New World’s AGM looming, shareholders in the company will be faced with a clear choice. Support the existing failed management and plan, or vote in Adam Reynolds and his team. Given this situation, there will be speculation why Paternoster has chosen to buy into New World at this particular point. However, judging by the manner and method of its announcement today, there could be some interesting clues that might help answer at least some of the questions.

This was not going to be my tip in the recently published book "The Magnificent 7" which you can download for free HERE. I was set to tip Optibiotix (OPTI) at c40p. Unfortunately for you (but fortunately for me since we own shares in the company) the share price has raced ahead to a 48p offer. I still think that they could head much higher and Zak Mir reckons that Optibiotix shares will be 60p by October. I think, that is what a chartist terms a long term view.

What the bloody hell do those useless tossers at New World Oil & Gas (NEW) think they are playing at? Last night the feckless twats confirmed they are going to waste shareholders’ money in a pointless conference call on Thursday. The bare minimum this will cost is £5,000 and is a total waste of everyone’s time and of shareholders money. These directors know they are done for, so why don’t they just have the common decency to take glasses of whiskey and a revolver into the corporate study and do the decent thing?

New World Oil & Gas (NEW) has yet to comment but the New World Oil & Gas action Group (NWOG) announced that it had proposed that company rescuer Adam Reynolds and 2 pals join the board at the AGM later this month while 2 existing directors step down.

This morning NWOGaction, the shareholder action group for New World Oil & Gas (NEW), announced its support for Adam Reynolds and his team’s bid for election to the board, at the forthcoming AGM. This is an exciting turn of events for New World’s long-suffering shareholders. It promises to set this stricken company on a much more positive path, led by the value creating force behind the recent flyaway successes of Optibiotix (OPTI) and Premaitha Health (NIPT). Reynolds and his experienced team of turnaround specialists have identified a project and new executive management for New World, in the booming Med Tech space. Now all shareholders have to do is vote in favour of this radical change in direction.

Verdes Management (VMP) has since its AIM admission in 2005 been a total dog. Different management teams have run different models and all have ended in failure. The last chump in charge was Dave Breith of Coms (COMS) infamy. But that is all changing. The shares YESTERDAY weere consolidated and relisted following a RTO by React (REAT) - the company's new name as of today. A refinancing was completed at 1.68p. The shares are a buy at up to 2p with a target to sell of 3.3p before the autumn is too well progressed.

The more I look at the collection of investment train wrecks and outright frauds that are the China filthy forty the more I am horrified. Let’s look at the 26th best performer out of the 40, it has only lost 96% since IPO on the AIM Casino. I refer to Northwest Investment Group Ltd (NWIG), a special from Big Ray Zimmerman of ZAI Corporate Finance.

Heck, I am biased, we own these shares, but I thought that the presentation by Steve O'Hara and Adam Reynolds of Optiobiotix (OPTI) at the second ShareProphets seminar was pretty compelling. I certainly view the shares as cheap on the basis of what I heard. To ensure that you get priority booking for future seminars (the next one is on 27 October ) and features myself, Amanda van Dyke of Bluebird Merchant Ventures, Rob Proctor of Audioboo and Cathal Friel of Fastnet Oil & Gas register HERE.

Contrary to suggestions made here and elsewhere by some of my greatest admirers, the first ShareProphets seminar was packed out with just over 50 folks gathering in Clerkenwell on Monday and – I think – having a good time. The next seminar is on Monday October 13 and you can ensure you get priority booking by registering HERE.

AIM listed Premaitha (NIPT) was our share tip of the week two weeks ago at 10.75p – the shares are now 15.75p but are still a buy from here – we expect them to double by Christmas.

Only 10 ways you say? Perhaps I should expand the list to 12 or fifteen and maybe I shall do so! But anyone following AIM must by now be aware that companies are routinely reporting profits that are not real profits in order to push the share price up ahead of the next placing.

AIM listed Vialogy (VIY) was a perennial dog. That was all meant to change following the reversal of Premaitha into the business at 11p in July. So far the now renamed Premaitha Group (NIPT) has failed to sparkle. The shares are now 10.75p. But after a summer lull we reckon that is all about to change. Big time and soon. Hence it is our share tip of the week.

As a general rule of thumb I don’t usually cover stocks outside of the oil & gas/mining sectors. So it should be a surprise to learn that after slating AIM listed Vialogy (VIY) shares when the “other lot” were in charge we are now or should I say ‘I have now increased my original token holding” and here’s why.

AIM listed Vialogy (VIY) shares came back from suspension on Friday, closing the session at 0.16p after a £6.5 million placing at 0.11p. We took part in that placing and will be taking up our full entitlements in the open offer at 0.11p – we were already shareholders. I suggest that existing shareholders do the same (given how in the money they are already) and also buy a lot more in the market on Monday.
