The very Simple question Highlands Natural Resources is Refusing to answer

By Tom Winnifrith | Sunday 19 June 2016

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

Highlands Natural Resources (HNR) is a dog with fleas which screams "over-ramped crap" at every level. Our coverage here is a comprehensive demonstration of why the shares are a sell at almost every level. It almost seems poor form to kick a man who is down. However...

A source who has hitherto been uber-reliable tells me that Paul Mendell - the brains behind DT Ultravert - has a clause in a prior employment contract that prevents him from being involved in a public listing of a company in the UK. This would explain the curious way Highlands bought his DT start up.

I ask the company to comment last Thursday. I got a late night agitated call from the PR chappie that evening in which he alleged I had already run this story. I put him straight, I had not. I asked if he would get the company and hapless Nomad Cenkos to confirm or deny. He promised a response on Friday. It is now Sunday. No response has been received. It cant be that hard to deny it if it is not true can it?

As I say, my source on Highlands has been bang on the money to date. The shares remain a stonking sell.
