Avanti Communications: Matt Earl ( The Dark Destroyer) weighs in ahead of AGM Tomorrow

By John Crawford | Wednesday 13 November 2013

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

The dark Destroyer, Matt Earl is short of Avanti Communications (AVN) and so unlikely to be welcome at what will be a tightly controlled AGM tomorrow. Dissent will not be tolerated one suspect. But should anyone feel brave enough to tackle the King of the bombasts, uber-Welsh CEO David Williams...

Earl has helpfully provided a list of 13 questions which Williams needs to answer. And frankly they look rather tricky. Unless there is a satidsfactory answer provided to all, staying short looks the smart move.

You can read the full list of questions HERE

  1. You have to feel sorry for those numerous subscribers that were ramped in to this stock at much much higher prices on many many occasions after being given false hope and forcasts. Sad for them. Despite the ridicule from Winnifrith at the time it seems Evil Knievel may have been right all along.

  2. Peter

Less sorry for those “ramped in” when I tipped it first at 116p.

But I guess you are so frigging perfect that you never have to admit that you were wrong. Sorry I am a mere mortal and I admit that I was wrong.

Better to do that sooner ( when the shares are 280p) than later…

But then you would not know about such dilemnas as I guess you are never wrong.
