Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
This is becoming a regular Friday feature - an after hours offer from Primary Bid for increasingly credible placings. The last one was Ascent at 1.85p - its shares, 3 weeks later, are 2.375p which is great news for our readers who took part. Next up is Versarien (VRS) which is raising £1 million at 15p.
That was announced at 4.38 PM Friday. The cash is already in via an institutional placing via WH Ireland. By institutions read spivs, hence the shares falling by 6% on Friday. Indeed the shares closed at 18p Tuesday as the spivs forward sold. Tossers.
The point about PrimaryBid is that it allows we private investors to get in on such placings as well as the City spivs and forward sellers.I have exchanged emails with Versarien and it seems a decent enterprise from what I can gather but please do not take this as a tip as I really am not an expert on this stock..
As you know if those who sign up to use Primary Bid via a link here like this one, take part in one of its offerings we get a small commission which goes to support the high quality journalism here. So natch I am supportive. But I also support PrimaryBid as a way of closing down the bucket shop discounted placing way of funding AIM stocks.
I make no comment on Versarien but I wish it luck. The more companies that use Primary Bid the better as, in the end, it will kill off the forward selling bucket shops for good.
If you want a bit of this placing you need to sign up to Primary Bid NOW and apply before the deadline of 5PM Sunday, so crack on.
If you don't want a bit of Versarien there will be a Primary Bid offer you will want sooner or later so - as it costs nothing to join - all readers should open an account today HERE.
Never miss a story.
