Notes from Underground - The real, actual, top 11 articles - unvarnished

By Darren Atwater | Sunday 8 September 2019

I've broken up these lists into articles and Bearcasts for the past year so readers can get a more rounded sense of what is popular each week. But I think that I need to show you the actual, merged, top 11 for this week.

  1. FREE Podcast: ShareProphets Radio Edition SEVEN with Tom Winnifrith - Matt Earl is explosive
  2. FREE Podcast: ShareProphets Radio Edition EIGHT with Tom Winnifrith, Frisby, Bramhill & Friel
  3. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: something incredibly exciting may happen today I can't reveal just yet
  4. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: with respect Liberum you are talking cock
  5. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Incoming for Burford at 8.15 AM Tuesday
  6. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I am glad Mugabe is dead & burning in hell with Martin McGuinness
  7. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: The Deadwood press is institutionally corrupt, case study Sunday Times & Quindell today
  8. Breaking: Rob Terry has now been interviewed twice by SFO – the five Quindell names in line for probable arrest soon
  9. Boom! Very awkward indeed: Burford Client Epicenter sues it for $200m – more questions on revenue recognition and ethics leap out
  10. Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Burford's statement does not wash and indeed raises many more red flags
  11. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: The stench of Neil Woodford makes IP Group uninvestable whatever Jefferies says

ShareProphets Radio Show and Bearcasts take eight of the eleven slots. The two written word articles are Rob Terry! and Burford.

We really are sliding into becoming a podcasting outfit. I don't know where you guys find the time.

Excluding ShareProphets Radio, the most read non-Tom article this week is The good (DS Smith), the inevitable (Ferguson) and the ugly (Restaurant Group) by Chris Bailey at a great number eight. or number 17 if you include Bearcasts.
