The Sith Lord Zak Mir to join Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks on June 13 - will you pledge to walk with us?

The third annual Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks walk is on June 13 2020. This year the route is increased by one mile to 34 miles and is from Winchester to the Woodlarks camp site.  As ever, myself (Tom Winnifrith), Brokerman Dan and Lucian Miers will walk but we want as many others as possible to join us.

Last year 15 started and 13 finished the course and we raised c£55,000

We know that it was too much for VSA boss Andrew Monk who is already coming up with excuses not to do it again, so shamed was he by the fact that he was shown to be less fit than 76 year old Brian Basham.  So Andrew is chickening out for this year but stepping into his shoes is ex blogger now evil PR spinner, the Sith Lord Zak Mir who has already started training by taking up smoking again.

We also know that ex Olympic gymnast and star of Superstars Suzanne Dando will be joining us.

The question is are you up for it? 

Lucian is organising for folks with houses along the rote to provide free refreshment stops. We will have three phased starts at 5.30 AM, 7 AM and 8 AM depending on age and fitness. And we aim for everyone to end up at Woodlarks by c7.30 PM for a few drinks and a meal. Trust me: the feeling as you cross the line with campers cheering is just amazing.

In my dreams I'd hope that 25 folks will start in 2020 and that we can raise more than £60,000 (i.e well over half the Woodlarks annual budget). Can you now commit to helping us?  If so email tomat49@gmail.com and let's start talking.
